Prologue

Ang ilaw sa loob ng club ay tila umiindayog sa tugtog. Hindi tuloy mapigilan ni Lucy na umindayog at ikembot ang kanyang bewang nang biglang ipatugtog sa club ang paborito niyang kanta.

Naglakad siya sa gilid ng mga table sa loob ng club at pinagdadampot ang mga baso na hindi na ginagamit. Nilagay niya ito sa tray na hawak hawak niya saka siya naglakad pabalik sa counter ng bar habang kumekembot kembot.

Sa kabilang dako naman ay nakatanaw sa kanyang bawat kilos ang isang lalaki. Palagi siyang nakatambay sa club pero ito ang unang beses na nakita niya si Lucy doon. Bigla niyang naramdaman ang pagkislot ng kanyang pagkalalaki at ang pagtigas nito habang nakatingin siya kay Lucy na mapang-akit na kumekembot sa gitna ng dancefloor.

Nakasuot si Lucy ng itim na skirt at corset top, hapit na hapit sa kanyang katawan kaya nakalantad ang kurba niya. Her cleavage was like an invitation para hagkan ng lalaking nakamasid sa kanya. The man cussed under his breath because he couldn't focus anymore. His mind was occupied by the thought of the girl swaying naked in front of him.

Lucy starts serving drinks at every table. May lalaking akmang hihipuan siya, but she swayed her hips to the right and winked at him. She was not up for any bullshit, except, of course, if the man got money. But while serving drinks, Lucy noticed the clothes and shoes the man was wearing.

They were all fake. She murmured.

She left their table and moved to the right corner to serve their orders. A man in his fifties called her attention and winked at her. She secretly rolled her eyes at how gross it looked. One of her rules is no to  old men. That's a big no-no for her.

She walked to the next table and served the drink. It was too dim in the area, but she could clearly see the man in front of her staring at her. He was looking at her intently, like he was slowly devouring her soul.

For the very first time, she felt her knees trembled. She couldn't understand how this man's presence could turn her on. The neon light suddenly hit the man's face, and she almost dropped her jaw. He was unbelievably gorgeous. He looked as if he came from a magazine. His dazzling eyes were fixated on her. His pointed nose and jawline were to die for. She couldn't even believe that the man's thick brows were more perfect than hers, and his eyelashes—damn, they're long.

She stood there in front, drooling over God's perfect creation.

The man couldn't also believe that the girl she fantasized about earlier was now in front of him, staring at his face. He gulped as his eyes roamed her body. He was now damn sure that the girl had curves and boobs. Her brown eyes were round, and her lips were plump. The shape of her face matched the size of her nose. She was really beautiful. He could not help but feel something for the girl. It was as if he was bewitched by her.

The girl looked away and cleared her throat.

"Here's your drink; enjoy!"

After saying those words, Lucy immediately left the area while she still had the energy to move. The man was draining her while he was looking at her body seductively.

However, the man couldn't help but smile at the girl's sudden reaction. He drank the beer in the bottle in one go saka niya sinenyasan si Lucy para humingi ulit ng isang inumin. He saw the smug look on the girl's face, which made him amused. This could be the first time that a girl has acted like this towards him.

"Are you sure you only want one beer?" Lucy asked. Nakangisi naman ang lalaki habang nakatingin sa kanya.

The guy nodded his head. And as if on cue, Lucy turned her back on him.

"Mind telling me your name?" asked by the man before Lucy could finally step farther away from him.

Lucy looked back and said, "I'm your biggest nightmare," before leaving.

When the man took the beer out of Lucy's hand, he was as if displaying his biceps as he reached for the beer. Lucy's face was burning. It was a good thing that the area was dim because she was afraid that the man would see her cheeks turning red.

Kahit na sobrang gwapo ng lalaking iyon, Lucy just couldn't get over the thought that he could be an average man. Although alam niya namang hindi ganoon ka sikat ang club na pinagtatrabahuan niya, paminsan minsan naman ay may napapadpad ditong mayayaman at mga business tycoons. And just by looking at the way the man earlier dressed, Lucy could tell that he was none of those. There is no way that man would be wearing a Ralph Lauren black button-down polo shirt and Prada shoes. Imposibleng branded ang suot nito.

She left the man and decided to leave the club earlier than she usually does. She couldn't afford to be swayed by his looks and end up riding him. No. She's not going to let it happen.

She won't let someone who's as poor as her fuck her world.

As soon as she stepped outside the club, she let out a heavy sigh. Lucy disregarded the thoughts of the man inside the club. But the man's tempting lips never left her mind. Her heart starts beating rapidly, which she cannot explain.

"There you are. Where do you think you're going?"

Lucy tilted her head to the left when she heard the familiar voice. She saw the man in the club earlier, walking towards her direction. His left hand was in his trouser's pocket. He looks really hot.

Lucy gulped.

But before she could let her mind work, her feet betrayed her.

She closed the gap between them and kissed the man on his lips.
