Sara went downstairs and Matilda started smiling as she saw her. "Sara, dear, you look stunning!" Matilda exclaimed, hurrying over to greet her.

Matilda drove Sara over to a cluster of women who looked their age (45ish) or so.

Matilda looked at Sara and said in this soft voice, "Matilda, Sara, these are my friends."

Meet Rachel, Elizabeth, and Catherine. This is Sara — Austin’s girlfriend."

Sara noticed that the women reached out to her in a sweeter way and their smiles and laughter seemed really quite enthusiastic. “Oh, Sara, how nice it is to meet you!” Rachel spoke in a sweet, charming way. “You're absolutely stunning! Austin has exquisite taste, doesn't he?"

Elizabeth chimed in, "Yes, Sara, you're just radiant! We'd love to get to know you better. Tell us, where are your parents from?"

She answered, "They live in Tehran. I came from a middle-class family."

The faces of the women stayed unchanged, though Sara noticed that their eyes seemed a little more interested. Catherine replie

It was the following morning and Sara was preparing to go to the office, her mother Maryam was cooking breakfast in the kitchen. Maddy was seated at the breakfast table still in her pajamas and giving no indication that she was planning to get dressed any time soon.Sara eyebrow-raised at the sight of how Maddy was dressed. “Are you not coming to the office?” inquired she, with a trace of amusement. Maddy, who had a mouthful of food, mumbled something back. “I am on leave... Today Chris and I are going to look at our new house."Sara made an eye-roll of good nature. “I am going,” she said; and her mother was too fast in intercepting her. “Eat breakfast,” Maryam said, putting a block in Sara's way.Yet Sara was determined. “No, I am okay,” she tried to avoid her mother. Maddy, never, however, shrank back, but with glittering eyes launched into the fray. “Aww, you will regret it, when you do not eat this delicious food! So long since I have had anything this good. Hurrah! you have magic

While Maddy drove, she kept talking and glanced back and forth to stay in the conversation. Sara said, “When did you purchase the car?” Maddy looked at her friend and smiled back. Chris gave me the gift. Isn’t he such a kind and caring person?Sara agreed by nodding. Yes, he is. Right then, Sara’s mom sitting in the back said, “Why hasn’t Austin gotten you something special like this? He truly cares about you.” Sara looked frustrated as she faced her mom. “You sound like what a gold digger woman’s mom would sound like, Mom. I am fine on my own."However, Maddy simply kept smiling and kept going. “I am so happy for you, Sara. It’ll be such a special day for both of us when we get married at the same time, at the same place!” Sara looked at Maddy with wide eyes, her face showing that she did not understand. “Could you please explain what you meant by that?”As Maddy started to speak, Maryam quickly cut in, speaking with a lot of excitement. “We made the decision to have your wedding c

Austin and his parents were taken aback and their expressions did not change. Maddy, who was not far off, moved towards Maryam and tried to stop her. She tried to hold Maryam back by grabbing her arm.“Let me go, please, Maddy!” Anger showed in Maryam’s eyes as she spat. Maddy looked sorry and explained, “I told her not to come, but she still made plans to be here while she knew you were here.” I'm sorry."A mixture of emotions was in Sara’s heart as she stared at her mother. There was a feeling of dread and confusion as all sorts of questions rushed through her mind. What brought her mother to this place?Matilda spoke up to Sara and said, “Is she your mom?” Sara nodded while her eyes alternated between her mom and Matilda. Matilda’s expression changed, and she got up to walk to Maryam with a smile.“Pleasure to meet you.” Matilda shook her hands and introduced herself as follows: “I’m Matilda Reed, and I’m Austin’s mother.” When Maryam looked into Matilda’s eyes, her face grew a tou

Sara found herself waking up with a terrible headache making her feel dizzy. She closed her eyes, groaning and waited until the room stopped spinning. It took her a short while to open her eyes and gradually her sight became clearer. After a moment, the room appeared clearly and she could tell that she was alone. She said to herself, "That feeling was odd in my dream." I had a kiss with Austin Reed.” She moved her head, hoping to get the fog out of her mind. The idea of kissing Austin struck her as hilarious and she couldn’t imagine that her mind had dreamt it up.She pulled off the covers and got out of bed, feeling her legs were not steady. As she walked to the bathroom, she turned on the light switch. The room was very bright, but she didn’t want to miss her chance to see herself. When she looked at herself in the mirror, she discovered that she was still wearing the dress from the previous night’s party. At that point, she only had a few memories of what took place after she had h

Austin could see that Sara’s eyes showed how vulnerable and eager she was. They did not pay attention to what was going on downstairs since their space disappeared and their lips met. Initially, their first kiss started out soft, as if it was their first time trying out their new emotions. Being in each other’s lives for a longer time made the passion grow and their kisses become hotter than what they thought possible.Sara ran her hands on Austin’s chest and found it was warm and comforting to the touch. Her gentle stroking of his skin made him feel very excited. She felt his grip on her hips and his thumbs stroking her back and forth while kissing with her. With Sara draped across his lap, Austin and she were involved in a hot and sweaty kiss. When they kissed, it felt as if a match was set off and the blaze was about to engulf both of them."Mmm," Sara murmured, her lips vibrating against Austin's."I hate you," Austin growled, his hands grasping her hips, pulling her closer. Austin moved gently as he put Sara on the bed and covered her with a blanket. While staring at her calm expression, he was lost in his own thoughts. He found himself turning his attention to Nova all the time. The woman who had captured his heart and then broken it. Austin's gaze drifted away, Austin seemed to be somewhere else as old memories took over his mind. He realized that Nova had changed his life in many ways.A feeling of tiredness made Austin pat his desk and walk away from the bed, noticing his desk was usually the place he spent late evenings. The space was dim and the only thing he could hear was his computer running quietly. He sat down, running each of his fingers over the familiar wood of his desk and then opened the drawer. He discovered some old pictures inside that reminded him of times spent at college. Austin touched each of the photographs before taking a few out and focusing on one of Nova. Her joyful smile showed bright and confident eyes. A large mix of feeli
