A few members of the Deum Belli had arrived as soon as they heard the news. They were always one of the first to arrive at the crime scene, before the police was notified, especially when it had to deal with a werewolf.
Every night of the full moon they regularly patrolled the forests and the woods where werewolves were more likely to raid. It was rare for a werewolf to lose control on a full moon, but it wasn't uncommon and in the human world they had to do their best to keep everything secret at any cost.
One of them had picked up the scent of blood from a mile off and they had followed the scent and it led them to a horrible sight.
