“What?!” All three people in the room yelled. Was Noah out of his mind? This was a disaster in the making.

“Yes, you’re the firm tutor he needs. All the others were chased away by his rude...” Noah gestured vaguely towards Chris, “...personality,” he finished with a dark undertone.

The atmosphere in the room seemed to grow heavier as if Noah had the power to control the pressure in the space.

‘The power of an alpha,’ Wyla chimed in.

“Yeah, no, I’m not staying anymore. I choose death,” Myla huffed.

“...wimp!” Chris retorted, pointing a finger toward her while wearing a self-righteous expression.

“He’s... he’s actually that bad,” Tiana managed to muffle her laughter.

“Understandable, I’d choose death, too,” Noah added sagely. “Unfortunately, you’re staying,” he concluded.

“This is going to be torture! I thought we were friends!” Myla cried out.

Noah couldn’t hold it in any longer; he burst into fits of laughter, shaking and wiping tears from his eyes.
