Make a great dad

The sun was shining bright and the wind was blowing strong against our faces.

I shivered involuntarily.

"Here," Romano said, handing me his hoodie.

"Thanks." I said, taking off my shirt and putting on the hoodie. It was huge on me and hung loosely around my body.

We got into the passenger side of the car and I leaned across the centre console to give Romano a quick peck on the cheek.

"So, where's your friend taking us?" I asked.

Romano turned his head to look at me and smiled softly.

"You remember where it is?"

I nodded, giving him a small smile in return.

"Good because he said that he has been planning this trip for weeks now. He just wanted it to be perfect, so we're gonna go to the beach."

Romano started the engine and soon enough we were driving along the highway heading towards town. We passed the village we'd passed yesterday and continued going straight until we reached the sea.
