Jamie can see an ambulance and a police car up ahead. She stops her car and gets out of it. Lincoln is sitting on a large rock while the paramedics apply first aid on him and a few police officers are getting his testimony. She received a call from Lincoln an hour ago that he’s been in an accident.“What happened?” She demands. “How did you get into an accident?”“Long story,” Lincoln mutters. “No one was hurt,” an officer says. “And the paramedics have applied first aid.
