Daniel is in his office, going over the notes of a recent patient who happened to come to him. The patient is the daughter of Governor Hampton, the same person who’s going to run for the next election. Daniel is highly interested in the case. He knocks on the door.“Come in,” her voice comes from inside. He unlocks the door and enters only to find Damien and another familiar face: Governor Hampton. Halsey is in deep thought. She’s completely zoned out, her mind only replaying Daniel’s threat. Ever since that encounter, she can’t help feeling that something is gonna go wrong.Jo pouts at her mother. Jamie can see an ambulance and a police car up ahead. She stops her car and gets out of it. Lincoln is sitting on a large rock while the paramedics apply first aid on him and a few police officers are getting his testimony. She received a call from Lincoln an hour ago that he’s been in an accident.“What happened?” She demands. “How did you get into an accident?”“Long story,” Lincoln mutters. “No one was hurt,” an officer says. “And the paramedics have applied first aid. The car is being towed away. You’re lucky, Doctor Jacobs.”Lincoln merely nods and throws a meaningful glance at Jamie. A paramedic approaches them and announces that they need to take Lincoln to the hospital. Lincoln is still shaken by the hallucination he saw earlier and had fainted. He was found later by a passerby who called the ambulance and the cops.
