Vince's POV
I sat in the hospital bed, rubbing my eyes. My whole body still felt numb, the wires connecting my body to the metallic, beeping machine were still active. Across from me, Damien stood, leaning against the wall.
To my surprise, my memory seemed to be coming back. Perhaps it was just the initial shock, after all. Besides, I remembered Amanda and her pretty face. How could I forget?
Those light eyes pierced into mine, as she left me standing in the ring, already knowing that I had lost. I decided, if it's the last thing I do if I pass away, was to see her and explain everything.
