Chapter 5 bonus chapter

Kevin POV

I made my way back to my house and I suddenly lost my appetite for food.

The worst part of it is that I hate the fact that I rented a house near the forest of Delon which makes it more dangerous.

I walked into the house and cooked some noodles because I was damn hungry and I hurriedly ate it.

I moved to the backyard of my house to check there out because I can't say there might be another mysterious being there. I moved back into my room and slept on my bed but sleep wasn't forthcoming. I brought out my lecture notes and went through it till about 1 AM in the middle of the night when I heard a knock on my door and I was more scared to death of who could be knocking at my door at this time of the night. 

I heard the knock again and I was more scared and again the knock sounded on my door.

And slowly it started getting more frequent.

I grabbed my Android phone and put on the touch light, I got hold of the hammer I used to repair the back door and made way to the door.

I got to the door and inserted the key into the hole as I tried to open the door but it was stuck as the key was not turning.

I tried my luck the second time and the key turn.

 I got hold of the handle and got the Hammer ready to hit anything I found at the door. I pulled the door open and I found no one.

"Who was now knocking on the door?, "Or am I hearing things now?, Was the thought on my mind.

I locked the door back and walked to my bed and just as I was about to fall asleep, I started hearing the same knocking I was hearing before.

This time around the knocking was louder.

I stood up from the bed and made it to the door with my hammer with me. I inserted the key into the lock and unlocked it. And just then I opened it to find no one again.

Just as I was about closing the door, I found a hand that looked irritating grab me from outside and I screamed in horror using the Hammer on my second hand to unconsciously hit the one-eye evil being across the face and it sent him crashing far away.

I quickly locked the door and fell to my butt as I held my chest.

This hammer just saved me from being eaten by an irritating evil ghost.

I stood up and decided to do research about the one-eyed being because he may come back for me.

He must have seen me when I was looking at him.

I got hold of my phone and started surfing through the Internet about the one eyed being but I didn't find any relevant information about it apart from the fact that he is a demon from the pit of hell.

I can't believe that demons are living in the form of human beings but I just have to believe. Since the Internet makes me understand that the Demons can take the form of a human.

I dropped my phone and stayed alert from any attempted attack from the one eyed beast but it was not forthcoming.

And just as the time hit 5 AM in the midnight, I fell asleep.

I was woken up by a knock on the door.

I checked the time and it was 7:50 AM in the morning.

"Arssh, I am still feeling sleepy'' was the thought on my mind as I stood up to check out who was knocking on my door.

I opened the door wearing only a boxer to find Sara dressed in a blue gown ready for lectures in a blue gown.

I quickly locked my door because I was the only boxer and the early morning bulged in my boxer.

"Morning Kevin" She said from outside.

"Morning Sara… I am sorry about that" I apologized as I got a towel around my waist and the bulge in my boxer went down.

"Did you wake up late today?" She asked.

"Yes… I slept late yesterday" I replied as I walked to the door back.

"Okay.. I will wait for you till you are done" She replied and I opened the door.

"You will be late for the lecture," I replied.

"No, don't worry about that," She replied.

"Okay, will you wait for me in your car or.." I was still saying before she walked in and sat down on my bed.

"Like seriously, you trust everybody" I said, surprised.

"No… But I feel like I can trust you… I am not someone to trust anybody easily" She replied with a smile.

"Okay.. I won't betray your trust" I replied as I found my way to the bathroom.

Changing in the same room, Sara was, felt awkward but she was not facing the direction I was changing in and she was busy doing something I don't know on her phone.

"I am done" I announced, she looked at me from head to toe and released a "wow" for my sense of fashion.

"You are looking dupe," She complimented.

"Thanks" I replied.

"So shall we?" I asked with a smile stretching forth my hand and she took it as I dragged her up and we moved outside to her car..

We got into the sports car and she drove all the way to the car pack and we took a walk to the lecture room.

"You see.. The lecturer is not even around" Sara said.

"Okay" I replied with a smile.

The front seat has been secured as we were left with the back seat.

We walked to the back seat as we took our seats.

Just then Cora walked in wearing a gown that looked stunning on her as the guys in the lecture room were busy staring at her.

Just then a cute fair guy walked up to her.

"Hi beautiful.. You look stunning. I like you and I will do you the honor of making you my Girlfriend" He replied with pride in his voice as everybody was looking at them. He must be from a very wealthy family.

But he was shocked when Cora behaved as if she did not hear him.

"You don't know who my father is.. I am Emmanuel Adam, the Senate president's only son. But she behaved as if she did not hear as students in the class burst into laughter. And just as he looks towards some of the students they kept quiet, he must be feared by them, I concluded.

Just as she walked toward us, she had used her eyes to locate Sara and I suddenly became nervous for no reason. 

She got to us and greeted only Sara.

"Hi" She greeted Sara

"Hi," Sara replied back.

Just then the lecturer walked in and Cora sat down and the lecture began.

After all the lectures we have today ended, Sara brought up the news.

"Who watched yesterday's news?" She asked.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Two families were killed by demons" She replied and I suddenly remembered the one-eyed demon I saw yesterday. If not for the hammer. I will have been dead by now.

"According to the report.. The victims' heads were not found on them as they have been eaten by the demons" She added.

"That's disgusting," I commented.

"Yes... It is... I am starting to fear living around Delon. Who knows they might come for anybody anytime" She replied with fear in her eyes.

"Let's just hope they miss attacking us" I replied.

After some minutes of silence, Sara talked.

"I'm hungry," She said.

"I am hungry also," Cora replied.

"Same here" I added.

"Let's go grab some meals, friends," Sara replied and we stood up.

We walked out of the lecture room and rolled to an eatery not too far away.

How am I going to pay the bill was the thought on my mind but I waved it over.

They should pay their bill themself was the thought that crept into the rascal me.

We got there and ordered our best meal.

And then the rascal approached us.

"Hey Cora," He said with a smile.

"I know you might be wondering how I know your name.. I have my way around this school" He added.

"And surprisingly, I am not willing to make you my girlfriend again. I will make you my sex slave" He said and everybody that heard that gasped. He suddenly grabbed her by her clothes and I was angry.

"Hey leave her this right minute" I said angrily.

"And who the hell are you to tell me what to do?" He replied with a smirk.

"Did you know who her father is?" I asked angrily.

"Nobody knows Cora's father," Sara whispered to my ears.

"I don't care who her father is" He replied and I stood up and gave a light punch that sent him crashing into a glass table. And I was surprised at my strength.

He stood up back and attempted to punch me when Cora held his punch and slapped him a resounding slap that shifted him back as everybody around gasped.

"Avoid me... You won't want to deal with my family" Cora said coldly in her angelic voice.

After regaining himself from the slap he asked.

"And who the hell is your family?" He asked.

"Make your research" She replied, taking her luxurious bag and walking out.

Sara followed her and I followed also.

We were able to catch up with Cora, when she got to her sports car as a man opened the door for her.

"Cora.. Wait" Sara said as she breathed heavily the same as me.

"I will see you tomorrow, Sara" She replied getting into the car as the driver by her side drove off.

"Like seriously.. She can't even say thank you" I muttered angrily

"Sorry about that" Sara apologized on her behalf.

"Don't apologize for her" I replied a bit angry.

"Okay" She replied.

"Is there anywhere else we can eat?" I asked.

"Yes" She replied with a smile and she led the way.

We got there and ordered meals and we settled down to eat the delicacy.

"That guy is looking at you" Sara suddenly said and I looked back to see a guy staring at me. I stared back at him and our eyes made a four. Just then his eyes turned red and he sent me a death glare causing me to be alarmed.

I turned to face Sara back and I asked her a question.

"Did you see his eyes turn red?" I asked.

"I stopped looking at him before you," She replied.

"Don't you think it is just your imagination that is showing you that" She replied.

"Well maybe" I replied.

"You should be in practice," She replied, checking her time.

"Yeah" I replied.

"So what are you going to spend your precious time doing? '' I asked.

"Probably watching you practice football," She replied.

"You should do something you love," I replied.

"I will help you check out a studio in Delon," I added.

"Thank you," She replied.

"Did I just hear you mention the studio?" The guy that led me all the way to the lecture room said as he sat down on a chair beside us.

"My bad. For breaking into your conversation and sitting down without your permission" He replied.

"Yes" I replied to the question he asked.

"I have a studio not too far away from the school... You can come check it out when you are less busy" He replied.

"Horizontal to the school gate or vertically to the left or right?" I asked.

"Horizontal to the school gate" He replied.

"Okay thanks" I replied.

"I am John," He introduced.

"I am Kevin and this is Sara" I introduced both me and Sara.

"So when are you guys coming to check out the studio?" He asked.

"Tonight," She replied.

"Why, I thought you would check it out now?" I asked.

"I am watching your training and we will move there together" She replied with a smile.

"Okay" I replied.

"Okay, my studio is open twenty-four hours.. I am sleeping there, ``he replied.

"We will roll by," I replied.

"Okay.. Bye" He replied, standing up and walking out.

"You know him from somewhere?" Sara asked.

"Yeah.. How did you know because you clearly see that I did not know his name" I replied.

"You seem to be surprised," She replied.

"You are a genius" I replied and she smiled.

"He led me all the way to the lecture room on Tuesday but I did not get the chance to know his name," I replied.

"Okay... I thought as much, ``she replied with a smile.

She stretched her phone to me.

"What for?" I asked to collect it.

"I need the number of my friend," She replied.

"Okay" I replied.

I went to the phone app and input my phone number giving her her phone.

"Can I have Cora's number?" I asked.

"I am sorry.. She clearly told me that she doesn't want me giving her number to anybody even if it is my family" She replied with a sorry face.

"I understood.. What did I expect from that cold lady" I replied.

"And you are a good friend.. You are the type of friend. I will want to roll with, no matter what" I replied with a smile.

"Thanks," She replied.

"Let's eat before our food gets cold" She added as we ate the food.

Sara played the bill after much struggle and we moved to the field.

"Hi, Kevin" A guy greeted us as he walked to us.

"Hi," I replied.

"Can I know you?" I asked.

"I am Samuel, a lead defender" He replied.

"It is nice meeting you," I replied.

"I can see you are getting along and you are adapting to my troublesome sister" He replied with a smirk walking away

"Damn you, Samson" Sara replied with a friendly annoyance and I chuckled.

"He is your brother" I asked to confirm his claim.

"Yeah.. My troublesome brother, ``she replied.

"You twins?" I asked.

"Yes.. We are fraternal" She replied and I smiled.

"I resemble my Dad while he resembles my mum" She added.

"Okay" I replied.

"I will just get into the training already" I replied walking to change.
