37. That Stormy Night

It was a stormy night.

Earlier the day, rain had begun to fall drastically. Thus, this followed to the night. As I tried to fall asleep, I began to hear muffled groans, coming from the side of the bed.

I instantly stood up to examine whatever had happened. I wasn’t prepared for what I heard next from Bane. . .

“Mum, Dad. . .” He trailed out. I felt him shaking restlessly on the bed. It was obvious he was having a nightmare. Thus, I did the next thing that came to my mind.

I moved to his side of the bed and held him carefully.
