I decided to go around the pack. I wanted to know the surroundings I was in and what they were really all about. Besides, I was jobless. I really had nothing to do.
I knew it would take me days when I convinced the Alpha to allow me go to school. But, I would.
“Audrey,” I heard someone call the moment I went out in the open space. Staring at the direction the voice was coming from, I saw a redhead with a bulb hairstyle that suited her cheekbones. She looked really pretty.
“I’m sorry but how do you know my name?” I asked, intensely startled at the way she had called me. I took in her outfit, a navy blue crop top and a ripped black jeans.
What was with the dark colors everyone here wore?
“Who doesn’t? You’re the Luna who came to Alpha in form of his Christmas present, aren’t you?” She asked. I took in whatever she had just said.
Was that what people said about me? Just wow.
I didn’t nod or anything because I was unsure if she had a good intention. In my 19 years of living, I learnt to never trust someone you didn’t know anything about.
“Everyone talks about you. They believe you will save them from the dark curse of the Moon Goddess,” She said.
“Err…” I trailed out, searching for her name.
“I’m Samantha Adolf, Bane's little sister,” I dissolved her words calmly. She was Bane's sister. No wonder she had striking features like him. Although, they didn’t resemble each other in any way.
“Samantha, it’s nice meeting you. Please what do you mean by the dark curse in this pack? And, I'm no savior. I’m just a 19 year old with dreams to achieve,” I constructed but she stared at me like I was saying gibberish.
“You see, it’s not my place to tell you. I suggest you ask Bane himself. And, you’re far too young to be a Luna. You might want to rethink this,” Samantha replied. I could only stare at her in amazement. She talked about my future and sounded so sure about it.
“And don’t take this as anything. I know you are not here because you want to. I’m just being nice because Bane told me to,” With that statement, she walked away.
Only one thought ran in my head at that moment: What an awkward way to meet the beast's sister.

Britney showed up the next day, which was Saturday. I had described Bane's pack but never told her it was the Red Walkers Pack. I was going to tell her when we found time alone.
I was in my room, minding my own business when someone came to tell me she was around. I jumped with joy and headed to the parlor to see her.
“Audrey!!” She called out, standing up to hug me.
“Hi, Brit.” I said, tightening the hug. I had really missed having her around. I missed us going for tans at the beach, going for hikes, having dumb fashion makeovers too.
I really wished I was with her.
“I really missed you, idiot. What came over you? Leaving the clique without telling anyone where you were going. Really?” She complained. I looked down, not knowing if I should tell her the truth or not.
“I never knew your grandma lived in a pack. Where is she? I don’t see her around,” Britney said. For a sound moment, I could only stare at her. I decided to tell her the truth.
“I have something really important to tell you but I would want you to keep it a secret. Don’t tell anyone, not even the clique,” I said, lowering my voice since there were lots of wolves around.
“You’re really scaring me, Aud. Tell me, what is it? My followers would be so excited to hear,” She said, wiggling her phone high up in the air. I instantly shoved it down.
“It’s a secret girl, I mean no one gets to know not even your followers,” I whispered. Her pink outfit swayed as she sat down on the sofa. I definitely should have warned her to wear a dark color cloth because, so far, people have been giving us awkward glances.
“Ok, spill,” She voiced out. I grabbed her ears and whispered something in it. I told her everything that had happened, following the debt my father owned the Red Walkers Pack and my abduction.
Her mouth formed into an 'o' shape at the big reveal I had just made.
“All these happened?” She asked, wriggling her brows at me. I nodded in response to what she had asked.
“So you directed me to come give you your stuffs in a pack known for it’s ruthlessness without telling me?” She asked.
“I’m really sorry, Brit. That was the only way I could get you to show up. You wouldn’t have come if I had told you everything,” I said, patting her shoulders.
“You didn’t have to assume, Aud… I could have shown up. The only difference would be that the pack's warriors would be by my side. So tell me, does the pack know you’re their Luna?” She expressed, asking me. I breathed calmly before responding.
“They all do, I've not just been introduced properly as a Luna should.” Just as I said that statement, Bane walked in the front door. I took in his appearance. He looked as good as ever. Bane was clothed in a dark check shirt. The shirt hugged his muscles which I liked.
“You're drooling,” Britney announced. I cleaned my mouth and playfully patted her shoulders for catching me red handed.
“Once upon a time, you only drooled for Damon. But, now, your good looking mate came forward and removed all feelings,” She commented.
I didn’t get the chance to answer her because, just at that moment, Bane appeared in front of us both.
“Audrey, I need to see you now,” He called out. My gaze directed to his. He looked fucking pissed at something. I could see the way his fists tightened into balls.
I reflexly stood up not to annoy him further. “I’ll be right back,” I said to Britney. She nodded, picking up her phone immediately. My stuffs were just beside her.
As I moved to follow him, my dog, Blue moved away from beside Britney. It followed me but I shooed it to go back to Britney. It whimpered and a part of me died down for being mean, but it was a necessary evil.
I trailed after Bane. We halted at the pack's kitchen which was surprisingly empty.
“What is this? Why is your friend wearing a bright color in my pack?” He asked, holding each sides of my shoulders firmly. Ripples of electricity passed through my skin the moment he held me. My wolf, Shirley, purred at our mate’s proximity towards us.
“S-She didn’t know, Bane,” I replied. I watched his dark gaze as they settled on me.
“That’s Alpha to you,” He responded dominantly.
“Alpha Bane, my friend didn’t know that your pack forbids bright colors. I kindly ask that you pardon her just for today,” Gosh, how I hated Alphas. They were just too full of themselves. So was Bane, he was the same with my dad.
“Your bargain is weak, Audrey. You should know I don’t pardon people by now. What’s in it for me?” He asked. My heart raced at his words. I couldn’t let anything bad happen to Britney. Thus, this meant that I was ready to risk it all.
“I would do anything you want, Bane. Just know I owe you. Britney's my best friend. I wouldn’t want anything to happen to her,” I said. His hands withdrew from my shoulders. He drew nearer. This made me to move back until my back hit the wall.
“Anything, you said?”
I nodded in response to what he had asked, to clear all his doubts. He sneakily moved like devil himself. I couldn’t believe the Moon Goddess had given me a beast as a mate.
What was I supposed to do with him? I asked to no one in particular.
You could love him. Shirley, my wolf said. I knew wolves used their anus to think. Thus, I didn’t reply her.
“Then kiss me,” He said surprisingly. I had thought I was the only one who felt the sexual tension between the both of us. From how things played out, I wasn’t the only one who felt this way.
“W-What?” I asked, shivering with pure ecstasy at his proximity to me. My first kiss had been a nerd who turned out to have a bad breath. So, in all, I had never had a first real kiss. By him telling me to kiss him, he made goose pimples form on my skin.
How did one kiss a beast?
“Kiss me, Audrey. You said you would do anything,” He reminded. My hands lifted to my forehead. The chemistry between us was just too intense. I could feel his body heat from where I stood.
“D-Does it have to be now? Like here?” I asked shyly. I didn’t know how to go about kissing but I wasn’t about to tell him that obviously.
“Yeah,” My body trembled at his words. I looked down shyly, but reminded myself that I hated him. That I was going to end up running away. I knew this meant no strings attached. Yet, my body was really betraying me. He really smelt nice and delicious.
I moved closer, about to kiss him. But, I suddenly lost all courage I had summoned.
“Please I need to drink water. I’m really feeling hot,” I lied smoothly. His hands moved from each sides of my head. He directed his hands to the fridge with an amused expression on his face. I immediately moved forward, and grabbed a bottle. I gulped the contents nervously, still thinking of what I was about to do.
Kiss Bane.
Kiss Bane.
Kiss Bane.
That was all that ran in my head.
Instantly, I refilled the water and kept it back in the fridge. Bane was studying my every movement. This made me meekly walk back to him.
“Let’s do this,” I said. I stepped in front of him. I looked at his lips like I did the previous time. They were so sexy and beautiful but I didn’t know why I couldn’t bring myself to kiss them.
Just as I moved closer, my heart thudded in panic.
“I-I-I think w-we should do this later, Bane.” I said. He leaned at the kitchen's entrance, folding his hands so sexily with his brown hair coming down loosely beside his eye.
Making a move to go out, I was held by a hand. My gaze directed down and it turned out to be Bane.
“You haven’t kissed anyone before, have you?” He suddenly asked. I blushed with a really tight smile before nodding my head.
“So if I were to kiss you now, I’d be your first real kiss, right?” Bane said that like he had just read my thoughts.
He suddenly grabbed my waist, pinned me to the wall and put his lips on mine.
My eyes were bloodshot at what had just happened. My hands reflexly went on his shoulders, wrapping around them.
“Come on, sunshine. Kiss me properly like this. Use your tongue like this,” He taunted. I used my tongue just as he told me to use it. My wolf purred in pleasure. His hands moved to each sides of my chin, settling there.
It was then I felt his manhood in between my thighs. He instantly withdrew from me.
His pupils were dilated. Veins rested below his eyes. It was like he was trying to control himself. His nose moved to my neck, settling there, as he inhaled my scent. A part of me quivered to be marked but I reminded myself that I hated him.
“Not too bad for a learner,” He commented. With that, he walked out of the kitchen door.

A/n Hi, guys!! I’m actually not feeling too well. I've been down with malaria since I woke up. It took a lot of energy summon to write this chapter for you guys.
Don’t forget to leave an accountable review for me. Thanks:(:(
I was clueless. So fucking clueless of why Bane would leave me with words like, “Not too bad for a learner,” after we had kissed. What did he mean by learner? Why was he messing with my head? These were the questions I had asked myself. Britney had left few minutes after that incidence. I had told her to changer her outfit to avoid Bane getting more angry but she said she was going to instead leave.“I hope you change all this rules as Alpha Bane's mate.” She told me. With that she had given me my dog and walked out.I patted it, taking in whatever she had just said.… Night had far approached. I could only say today was fast. Following the events that had happened. As I sat on the room's sofa, I silently pondered the sleeping arrangements that was going to take place this night.Bane had not showed up in the room yesterday night. He probably had ha
It was a warm evening. Every material for the party had been prepared just fine. Ladies and gentlemen stood at every nook and cranny of the forest. The Omegas took care to make sure that every bits of decoration wasn’t left out. People were mostly dressed in dark outfits because they didn’t want to defy the Alpha. A part of me felt happy because of a totally different thing.Today, I was going to see my crush, Damon. I knew that since his parents were one of the influential people in our pack, they were going to show up tonight. This also meant that Britney was going to come, Genesis was also coming because she was the daughter of the Beta. I looked forward to having my clique here tonight. This waswhy I had pulled Bane for a hug this night. Crazy him, he definitely thought I was becoming used to him.Too bad I couldn’t feel that yet. Even though Genesis was practically screaming to me that I should stop thi
There were just times I was left in situations I never planned for. Times like when mum died and I had to be that elder sister to Chris. Times when dad spent all his money on gambling and I had to work on part time to keep up with our bills.I had always believed in that quote that mum used, “When life gave you lemons, throw it back at life,” That was what mum had raised me up with.It all hurt. The fact that she died early and I didn’t get a chance to tell her goodbye. I never wanted to be this way. Never! That was the thoughts that ran through my head as my clique watched me, waiting for an explanation. Britney had gone to help her brother up, leaving me to explain it all. My eyes moved to theirs. It appeared confused. Like they had trusted me to tell them everything about my latest life and I didn’t. “Are you just gonna stare at us or are you actually going to explain us what just happened or what?” Gene
Just as we had taken out bath with the waterfall, we had settled down for some time. It was just as the sun was about to set he called me.“Sunshine, look,” He said as we laid down on the grass. I directed my eyes to where he was pointing. My eyes were awed at what I saw. Behold, it was the sun setting from the East. I watched as it beautifully moved.“Wow,” I let out. “It’s beautiful,” I added. An expression I couldn’t quite read, formed on his face. It all made me feel comfortable though. But, I reminded myself that I needed to go home and falling for anyone even though he was my mate won’t help.“I brought you here to see this specially but I got distracted,” He said, taking my hand in his and locking it together. We had put on our clothes the moment we had gotten out of the water. The sun was really beautiful while rising. We both watched as the rays seeped through the trees and out poured on our faces. I nervously wat
BritneyAs I carried my brother, Damon to get rid of his bloody nose from the beating Audrey's mate had given him, I complained.“I hope this reaches you a lesson not to fantasize over everything in skirt,” I mischievously let out. He scoffed out loudly at what I had just said.“Shut the fuck up, Britney. You know that bitch kissed me first,” He seethed in pain and held on to me more tightly and angrily.“I won’t have you insult my best friend, brother!” I let out as I dragged him with me.“Then you should tell your hot friend never to kiss me in a dare if some random dude would show up and knock me out!” Damon voiced out angrily. To think my brother was the typical bad boy who could fight. I guessed I was wrong. I mean he couldn’t even give Bane a punch.“He’s not a random dude,” I announced as I set him down on our car's booth. I took out the first aid kit and brought out the necessities.
I was so embarrassed. I couldn’t believe I had just done this. And, the craziest part of it all was that Bane was staring at me like I was some little slut—which off course was contrary to what I really was.I made a move to say something.“I-I- what I mean is-is…” I trailed out. I couldn’t speak with him looking at me like that? It all felt embarrassing, gosh!“Cat got your tongue now?” He asked, arching his brows, still staring at me intensely. Bane had his grip against me and Shirley, my wolf was purring at the proximity between us at every moment. His eyes were dilated. I silently wondered what was turning him on because I wore a baggy sweat shirt and pants.“I didn’t mean to do that, Alpha Bane. I-It w-was,” I started out, looking for anyth
Britney After thatday at the beast's pack, I didn’t see my mate again. I went back to my pack withmy little clique, excluding Audrey off course. I knew she was as well damnedfor turning out to be a dangerous beast's mate. I just hoped she'll be fine.My clique still didn’t know Audrey was the beast's mate.Neither did they know that I had known that she lied to them about being in hergrandma's place. My wolf quivered. It drew me to go back to the beast’s packfor our mate but I resisted. No one wanted to be alone in a pack as dangerousas that.Though, I cursed with so much intent. That, I even did, when I went to school the next
Something at the back of my head told me I was screwed from the way the horrified expression formed on Charlie and Sarah’s faces. The hallway was a bit dark. I could only see the person’s face with the shadows covering the entire view.I waited as the creature stepped out of the darkness that engulfed around him. Peeking through the corner of my eye was Charlie and Sarah. They were both trembling. It was definitely because of whoever it was.As the figure moved, I noticed who exactly it was.Bane.I hadn’t pictured exactly how he would appear to be but this was all so strange. I took a glance at his face. It was different from what I had come to know, literary. There was a despicable look in his eyes. A look of detest, as if he was determined to cast sorrows
