Chapter Eighteen
Quintons POV
I usually enjoyed these meetings with the other alphas. They could be very informative and great for networking. However now that I met Jocelyn Ajax was just so antsy. If I was being honest so was I. I found myself looking occasionally at the clock to see the time. Finally it was noon so I dismissed everyone for lunch. I walked down the hall and started to pick up Jocelyn's delicious scent. As I got closer to the common room I could see Jocelyn and Antonio.
I watched as Trinity and Gunner walked out of the pack house. Tony stared heatedly at them and I almost stepped forward to remind him of his place. However Jocelyn placed a hand on his arm then a moment later Tony grunted and nodded his head before going up stairs. I heard her sigh a little and watched as he walked away. She almost seemed to feel sorry for him, but why? He was an abuser, he hit my sister. Jocelyn turned and walked towards the dining room.

Quintons POVI lifted my head from my desk with a groan. I had told Jocelyn to stay in another room last night but her scent was still everywhere. I couldn't take it so went back to my office for the night. The expensive bottle of scotch had been my best friend last night. I didn't know what to do right now. I was hurt, I wanted to throw the three of them in cells last night. Jocelyns POV I could breath a little easier now that I knew Quinton wasn't going to reject me. I woke up the next morning bright and early. Jocelyns POV Lola just kept screaming and I covered my ears as a nurse came in the room. "What happened?" The nurse asked as another came in with a syringe. "We said hello and she just started screaming" Lorenzo lied. One of the nurses injected her with the syringe and her screaming slowly faded as her eyes closed. Paul looked like he was ready to murder the nurse "What did you do to her?" He asked angrily. "It's just a mild sedative. She should wake up in a couple of hours" The nurse explained with a gulp. They helped put Lola on the bed and tucked her in then they left. Once the door was closed again we all let out a breath. "I can't believe she's your mate" I said to Paul. He just stared at Lola's sleeping form and walked over to the bed. He tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear and stroked her cheek with his thumb. Jocelyns POVI looked to Paul and Lorenzo skeptically wondering if either of them might have an answer. "I'll give him a call to discuss the transfer" Lorenzo told the receptionist who gave a little smile and nodded her head. We walked away from the desk and back to Lola's room. She was sitting up on her bed with a coloring book and crayons. I smiled at how peaceful she looked right now. When the door closed behind us I looked to Lorenzo."So how are we going to pull this off?" I asked him. "I'll call Tony and that damn witch again" Enzo said with a shrug of his shoulder. Lorenzo pulled out his cell phone and stepped to the corner to rally the troops. I sat on the bed and looked at what Lola was coloring. She didn't even look up as she continued coloring a picture of Belle and the Beast. Paul stood beside the bed watching as well. Jocelyns POVOnce we drove off I took a deep breath. "Let me stay in there until we get to Quinton's place" I tell everyone in the car. Everyone nodded and I closed my eyes while laying my head back on my seat. I took another deep breath again and took hold of Lola's hand. Just like before I was surrounded by darkness but this time I knew there was a light at the end of the tunnel. I started walking forward until I finally started to see a light.I took in the serene view in front of me, the trees swaying in the breeze the sun shining brightly. "Welcome back" Lola's voice said next to me. I jumped a little bit and looked to her "How are you so stealthy?" I asked with a light laugh. She just shrugged her shoulders and looked back to the forest. "So how do we get your memories back?" I asked out loud but to no one in particular. "They're down there" Lola said pointing to the forest. "But I'm trapped in the cave" She added.&nbs
