Chapter 15: The Plan.

The awkward silence in the room was suffocating and very uncomfortable for me but I ignored my itch to break the silence and continued to wait for Bayo's managing director, who was running a few minutes late.
Ever since the issue we had on Saturday, I've avoided Bayo in every way possible. I blocked his number on WhatsApp, ignored most of his calls with the excuse that I was busy, which wasn't a complete lie if I'm being completely honest, but I would normally exaggerate how busy I was just to avoid talking to him and after a few more days of getting ignored, he stopped calling.
A tiny part of me was hurt and I felt a little ignored at first but at the end of the day, I had no one to blame but myself. I'm the one with insecurities after all.

Omotayo Gabriel and I quickly exchanged phone numbers as soon as he arrived at Ikate.
