Chapter 11: An Alpha’s Claim

It didn't look so different from the human world.

Except for the waters.

They were so clear; they glittered like sapphires.

The sun was still setting here, and the red rays hit off the surface of the water and bounced off, filling the air with a burst of color.

I felt like I was in some kind of dream.

I had expected to see monsters with two heads, or even three. Or perhaps a half human, half horse.

What were they called again?

Cage's face wasn't exactly approachable. The look on his face told me something weighed heavily on him.

I felt a close link with him now. I don't believe Cage will let me marry this alpha he spoke about.
