Chapter Six

I kept running pushing my legs to go faster.

"Olivia stop!" He called after me.

His voice only urged me to go faster. I let out a laugh as I ran, my laughter echoing in the forest disturbing the peace.

My happiness was short lived when I realised how close Damon was. He literally was on my heels.

Hmm...that won't do.

I looked ahead of me and spotted a thick tree. As soon as we got close to it I feigned a left turn before changing course immediately. I ran towards it and up the trunk before flipping backwards and changing direction.

I heard him curse which caused me to smirk as I continued running. His speed would have prevented him from stopping to change course.

As soon as I heard a growl and snapping of jaws I knew he shifted.

Did anyone say rodeo?

With a grin I knew he was back on my heels. I could literally feel his breath on my legs.

I closed my eyes and tilted my head towards the sky basking in the
