SERENA

"If you were a man, I'm sure as hell you wouldn't be able to walk by now." The biker still leading me, said, his voice barely above a whisper. He spoke like he was afraid of being heard.

"Why do you say that?" I let out a long sigh as we stepped outside. Wandering eyes from the biker creeps outside were on me again. Anyways, I'd rather they have their eyes on me, than that of the president's.

'Cause they don't make you drip your pussy juices on your panties, right? Unlike your new boss. Just few minutes with him and you've got yourself all soaked up. Funny enough, you ain't even ovulating.' My subconscious mind said, probably with a giggle.

What was funny? Why the fuck was she laughing?

I really hated how she hasn't been on my side since I met that man at the coffee shop...always showing her undying support for him.

'I always support the truth, Serena. This has nothing to do with him.' she spoke with a final tone.

"From the way you spoke to the executives. I was genuinely scared for you." The biker continued, stopping the conversation with my subconscious.

"Pfft," I hissed. "You shouldn't have been."

"Don't take Bishop's warning likely. He's as dangerous as Havoc, the club's president."

Ohh, so, his name was Havoc. I just remembered that when I met some bikers earlier, one of them said something like Havoc being on a fucking spree. Not surprised at all... A man like that would always have women at his beck and call.

"I always mind my business...they should mind theirs too," I replied stubbornly. "By the way, who is Rex?"

"Widow's Bite president."

"Widow's Bite?"

"The enemy club."

"Oh."

We stepped into a wide entrance that happened to be a long hallway. There were doors on each side facing each other. I was still trying to make out where the hallway ended when the biker with me tapped me.

"This is Chanel's office." He stopped on the second door on my right, before proceeding to knock.

"Come in." A female's voice sounded from inside followed by a hearty laugh from another female.

The biker pushed open the door and I followed him inside. Two women...a younger and a much older one were having a conversation... one of them should be Chanel.

I was surprised to see that a place like this could be in a biker's clubhouse. It was airy and lit as fuck, and smelled of fresh flowers unlike the engine oil and smoke that got stuck in my nose from outside. The only resemblance here was the club huge emblem engraved on the wall just directly on top of the older woman's head...and the clothes rack which had several leather vests on them. I could also see a pedal sewing machine by the corner.

"Mom, Nolan isn't like that." The younger woman who was sitting on the table facing the older woman drawled. I couldn't see any of the faces yet.

"I know my son quite...Ohh," the older woman paused mid sentence when she titled her head, her eyes landing on me first.

"Morning, Mama Chanel." The biker with me waved at her.

"Oops." The younger woman got off the table immediately and stood beside Chanel. Now, I could see their faces clearly.

Chanel was on her chair, leaning her back a bit with her elbows on the armrests. Her dark brown hair was short...really short, her face touched up a little. From where I stood, I could only see what she had on top. Her leather vest had the tag "Wardrobe Mama."

The younger woman who I didn't know her name yet, had her ginger coloured hair neatly packed in a ponytail. Despite her face being bare... without any makeup, she was stunning as hell. And she wasn't as scantily dressed as the two women I had seen earlier. Her sleeveless black laced dress was inches above her knee and I absolutely loved the leopard skin ankle boots she paired her outfit with.

"Uhmmm, hello ma'am." I greeted Chanel quietly, trying not to sound nervous.

Chanel gave a silent nod.

"Mama Chanel, she's..." The biker had wanted to start speaking on my behalf when I touched his arm.

"Don't worry. I can speak for myself." I mumbled, remembering exactly how Havoc cut him off when he had wanted to speak for me.

"Sure."

"Thank you."

"See you, Mama Chanel...and you too, Mrs Ax." He said to Chanel...and ohh the younger woman was married.

I was expecting Chanel to ask me to take a seat when the biker left but she didn't. She simply looked at me, waiting for me to say the reason why I was in her office.

"Uhmmm... ma'am, I...was selected as one of the fashion designers for the club."

"Serena Voss?"

"Yes ma'am."

"You're late," she said, her mouth pressed into a thin line. "Your colleagues were here before eight am and you're..." She paused, her eyes moving to the wall clock. "Twelve minutes late."

"I...uhh..." The jacket in my right hand suddenly felt so heavy that I had to support it with my left hand. "Ma'am, I was here before eight but I had no idea I was to come to you first."

"Excuses, excuses.... isn't it too early for you start spewing them now?"

Gosh, this woman was damn strict.

"No ma'am, I'm not lying. The young man that brought me here took me to the president first...."

"You met Havoc?" The younger woman who I knew now as Mrs Ax cut me off.

"Yes," I shifted my attention to her. "He was with Money and uhmmm... Bishop."

"Wow, I hope they didn't scare you?" She asked with a low laugh. Nah, this woman was very beautiful. I thought. With a face like that, pretty sure her husband would never have a bad day. My eyes moved to her shoulder area towards her right arm where "Nolan's Kitten" was tatted with a love emoji.

Nolan should be Ax.

"Not at all, Mrs Ax." I didn't know what to call her so I settled for that.

"Oh please, call me Zoey."

"Have a seat." Chanel gestured to the left seat.

Finally... I breathed out slowly, feeling relaxed a bit as I moved to sit down.

Chanel passed an envelope to me.

"That's the contract. Go through and sign on it."

"Alright, ma'am." I swung my purse off my shoulder, opening it and searching for a pen to be miraculously inside. However, the only items in my purse were my transport fare back to Willa's house and my lipgloss.

Shit, it'd be embarrassing to ask Chanel for a pen but I had no choice.

"Ma'am, please can I have your pen?" I asked, my palms getting sweaty as I prepared for her response.

She looked at me briefly, then pointed at her pen case. "Next time you come to my office, you should always have a pen."

"I will, ma'am." I smiled nervously at her, taking a pen from the case. Next, I opened the envelope carefully and pulled out the paper inside.

"The contract runs for only three months and your salary each month is twenty thousand...."

Hearing that amount of money made my head spin for a second. I have never seen a quarter of that amount in my life.

Damn, this felt so fucking surreal. Twenty whole thousand in a month... Hell, I would move out of my dead ass apartment, change my wardrobe and my phone, get a new laptop... Gosh, my dying boutique would come back to life.

'Calm your titties down, Serena. You haven't even seen the money yet. And morever, you're not in good terms with the president. How sure are you that your sharp mouth won't betray you and he'll get you fired before the end of the first month?' My subconscious who has automatically become my enemy inquired.

'Fuck you... And fuck him too!' That was my response to her.

I'd have to find a way to block her permanently from my mind. She's becoming a fucking nuisance lately.

As for Havoc, I could handle him easily. He wasn't and would never be the problem.

A tiny part of me knew that whatever I said about Havoc might be the complete opposite of what would happen in the next three months.

Maybe I would be the one who needed handling....

Maybe I would be the problem...

KNOXXI didn't exactly see her the moment I entered. But I did notice some movements at the very end of the garage where she was, I suppose. I took my steps very lightly, making sure she didn't hear me as I got closer to the end. Despite the garage's poor lighting, I was able to still see.I've caught sight of her now. She was crouched beside the last bike close to the wall, her phone in one hand with its torchlight turned on. She was seriously checking out the bike as if she had seen it somewhere, wait...I was seeing an image of the same bike on her phone screen. "Shit!" She breathed out a quiet curse when something slipped out her purse and rolled under the bike. She rose to her feet, bent over the bike, forcing her naked ass cheeks straight to my face...Holy fuck! They were round, smooth and very plump....not forgetting to put bubble-like. She wasn't wearing anything under this whole time... 'Focus, Knoxx, focus. This is not why you're here.' I mentally hit myself. She had pick

KNOXXIf I had known, I would have listened to my instincts and stayed in my room as I've always done during club parties. Ax was the one who did the convincing."Do you always have to be a no fun person, Havoc?" This was a conversation between us hours ago before the party."I'm the club's president, Ax. The time I'll spend partying away, I could use that for more important things. Are you not seeing what's going on?" The important things here, I mean playing chess alone and mentally using it to figure how to destroy enemies of the club, or finishing up Sun Tzu's The Art of War that I was reading last night...or adding some shit to my notes, haven't written in close to two months now."Don't make me laugh, Havoc. And just this one night, you'll find all the solutions to the club's problems." "Nothing is impossible, Ax." I squeezed my coffee cup and threw it into the nearest bin. It was barely six pm in the evening and this was my ninth cup for today, would definitely have two or thr

SERENA"Hope you're okay?" Zoey must have noticed how I went totally quiet...her doctor instincts, I guess. She'd be thinking that the shot must have taken a toll on me. The vodka or whatever that was inside was awful but it wasn't the reason why I was shaken. The reason was on the other side of the hall."Of course, I'm okay." I forced a smile, despite the bitter and harsh taste stuck to my tongue. The cocktails, I believe, that Layla had ordered was brought to our table."Here," Layla gave me one glass which had an orange slice placed on its rim. "It is called Sex on the Beach." "I hope it's not as terrible as..." I made a distasteful face while gesturing at my empty shot glass."Nope, it's very mild, you may not even taste the vodka in it."I sipped a little first to confirm. She didn't lie. It was sweet, having peach blended with orange kind of taste which made me want another sip immediately. While enjoying myself with a glass of Sex on the Beach, I haven't forgotten that I woul

SERENAZoey: Serena, don't tell me you bailed out last minute. Layla: maybe, she did. I've been trying to call her, but she hasn't picked up. Party started thirty minutes ago.Me: of course not, ladies. Layla, I apologize for not picking up, I was getting ready...and I'm on my way already.I took a quick picture of my boots and sent to the group chat consisting of Layla, Zoey and I... Delilah's phone was having screen issues, she'd be joining the group later when her phone gets fixed. The cab that I was in finally got to the gates of the clubhouse. I was expecting to hear loud, vibrating music from inside, but I didn't. Right in front of the gate, everywhere was damn quiet. Layla said party has begun...maybe I should go in first to confirm.I was out of the cab already, by the widow of the passenger's seat, my right hand stretched out to the driver to pay for my ride. Two minutes passed, he hasn't taken the money from my hands. I wasn't even looking at him until I drifted my eyes to

  • The Biker's Fashion Designer    18: My First Club Party

SERENAThis week has been stress-free in a way. I had only jacket designs for the old ladies to work on which I used the whole of Wednesday to create. And I went to the club house on Thursday to go check on the progress of Harper and her team as Chanel had told me. The main thing I was looking forward to this week was the club party happening this Saturday. Since I would not be busy today being Friday, I decided it would be a perfect time for me to going back to my apartment, get some of my clothes and other stuff."Willa, I'm heading home.""Why? Am I making you uncomfortable? If it's the Havoc talk, fine, I will stop." This best friend of mine suddenly became alert."Willa, oh my God, look at the way you're freaked out" I laughed. "I'm only going to get some important stuff. I'm coming back today.""Thank goodness. You had me thinking deep for a moment.""But you know I won't stay with you forever. I'll have to move out someday...""Yes, to your husband's house. Or Havoc's, maybe."

  • The Biker's Fashion Designer    17: Not Jealous

KNOXX It's been two days of torturing the two idiots who tried to ambush my club members and I on our way coming back from a ride to MOA. Yet they have chosen to keep their mouths shut as to who sent them. The club's doctor, Philip, was on always on standby, ready to stitch and clean them up.It was presently the night of day two."Do you think they will talk?" Ax asked while Blade made a new whip from the ones he destroyed on their bodies. The two men were tied up to a long pole, their hands together and their bodies hanging on the air. Ax and Blade were the ones doing the punishing while I stood and watched. The basement which was out of bounds to the rest of the clubhouse, was the usual place where the club's captives were thoroughly dealt with."One way or the other, they have no choice." I said in response. "From the look of things, these bastards have chosen to die. They have decided not to say shit." Ax hissed. The death part was what I was avoiding...reason why I didn't wan
