Zuriel's P.O.V.

My one-day leave piled up heaps of files on my desk, I even missed lunch and meeting with a client for it. Bruce came into my office with his cellphone, reminding me of my own mobile.

“Shoot!”

There were five missed calls from aunt, she tried to contact me through Bruce’s number.

“Carla and Henry have left for their honeymoon. I was waiting for you, Zuriel. When will you come home?”

As I was on a business trip according to her, this was the best excuse to stall some more time.

“You must have seen the record sale of our new product, aunt. I am currently dealing with overseas clients. Please understand.”

My reply made her happy, she blessed me.

“You are so hardworking, my son. I will go to the temple for a special prayer ceremony. Both of my kids are doing great in their lives, the Moon Goddess is gracious towards our family.”

Aunt’s temple trip would easily take two or three days, I readily agreed to her plan.

“Sure, Aunt.”

I was also excited to thank the Moon Goddess.
