Chapter Thirteen.

Ugh! How infuriating. Now it’s my fault?

He was the one who told me to stay when I was going to leave as soon as he came in and now he is angry at me for obeying his wishes?

Well next time i’ll be sure to stay the hell away then!

I glared at the door from which he exited, seething but my body betrayed me by shivering at his growl. What was that about any way? I could swear sparks of electricity went between us or did I imagine that?

It was tingly and weird.

Shaking those thoughts away I sat down to finish the last of my sandwich and hot chocolate that was cold chocolate now. I had just finished rinsing the last of the dishes I had used when the kitchen door opened and I whipped my head around to find Betsy who was surprised to see me there.

“oh dear you’re up early you should’ve waited for me to get you some break fast.”

“oh it wasn't that much of a hassle I was happy to do it. Besides, I couldn't exactly wait you see...”

I laughed awkwardly.
