Chapter Seventeen

“she saw me shift.” Isaac said as soon as they got to Tristan’s office.

“you don’t know that.” Tristan said. “besides, I’m not too worried about her I’m worried about the rogue, did you find out from which pack he belonged to?”

“no Alpha.”

“I’m worried they might start to become a problem again. Increase security on the borders I don't want another incident like this one to occur again.”

“yes Alpha. About the human…”

“leave her to me.” Tristan said.

“yes alpha.” Tristan wasn't worried about the possibility of Kyra finding out what they were he had no concrete assurance he just knew. What made him curious though was the fact that she hadn't been startled by the fact that Isaac had shifted or had she dismissed it as some trick of the light?
