S3: Chapter 12: Decisions

Sunlight from the window brightens Alice’s room and she slowly opens her eyes, rubbing them as she sits up on the bed. She looks around her and a sigh of relief flows from her lips.

The dream she just had felt so real. Memories of her losing her child and the end of her marriage still stuck in her head and she can't seem to let that go. It hurts so bad and not even 4 years could erase the trauma.

She was about to reach for her water bottle situated on the small dresser beside her when she cried out in shock.
