Veronica's husband Jeremy who was also in the living room heard the question and stood up from his seat looking at Mel and truth be told, he also saw the ring and it was diamond.

Where would his beloved shy and quiet sister-in-law get such an expensive ring?

She left the house about five hours ago going to look for work but now, she came back looking like she was crying and on top of it she had a diamond ring on her finger?

“This ring?” Melissa looked at the ring which was a reminder that her life was ruined and she couldn't help but shed a tear.

Veronica who was observing her little sister's actions saw the tear fall from her eyes and with a worried look she said, “ Mel tell me what happened why are you crying and where did you--”

Veronica was cut off as Melissa pried her hands away from her running up to her room.

“Mel!” Veronica was about to run after her
