Chapter Fourteen

Without having to turn around, David could put a name to that familiar voice tight behind him, her heels clicking on the ground as she walked closer to them.

"What girl did you meet yesterday?"

David was furious. Valerie was asking her some silly question as if he owed her an explanation, lest she forgot. She threw him out of her apartment and humiliated him in front of beloved Damien.

"I wasn't talking to you Valerie"

Lisa looked at the lovebirds, they seem to be having some couple issues. Not like they were a couple or anything.

David glanced back at Lisa who was eager to see them spar. "I will see you around"

"Aren't you going to wait for Lucio?" Lisa purposely asked. She wanted him to stay. She enjoyed watching both of them spar more than she enjoyed streaming Netflix.
