Chapter Twenty-Nine

Lisa was cooking in the kitchen when Lucio returned. He had stayed up late in the office even after Angelo left. His conversation with David and Angelo got him thinking about Jason. There are times his friend was weird but that was Jason, he had a lot of things going through his mind.

His friend has to think about his problem, his family and the children in his small town so he couldn't think of him as the bad guy. It was Valerie, this was all her. She was the only one to blame for their failed relationship and his friend's disappearance. That was what he told himself to get himself out of bed and move towards his door so he could leave and come home to Lisa but that didn't stop him from thinking about Lucio from wondering what happened to their relationship. He never saw Valerie with scars but she had no need for money. Her father gave her an allowance that was enough and she could shop with his card. But why was she asking for money?
