Alessio

‘Fucking pompous ass scumbag son of a bitch.’

She had uttered those words right after the door had shut behind me, with her hands curled into small fists by her sides like she had wanted to throw a punch.

At my face if I were to hazard a guess.

I had probably watched the camera footage with the audio enabled about 20 times, still in disbelief she had insulted me with such vulgar words coming from her innocent-looking mouth.

Mouth that looked like it had never been kissed. Never been properly ravished.

Everything about her looked pure, untouched. But the things she said, the things that came out of her mouth, were downright foul.

I tapped on the rewind button but it went too far back and Georgina was suddenly on the black and white screen, strutting around my home like she owned the place.

Anger surged within me so fast the heat of it raised my body temperature, fingers white-knuckling the edge of my desk in renewed ire.

Coraline had let that donnaccia in and she had immediately headed for my bedroom, stripping herself naked and lying between the sheets to take pictures of herself in erotic poses. I was sure she had sent them to me, having not realized she was already blocked.

Seeing the live footage had incensed me so much I had immediately filed for a restraining order against her. She had planned on coming here afterwards but I had already informed the doormen on the ground floor not to let her in and to use physical force if necessary.

She was fast becoming a problem, and I regretted every single second of ever taking her out on that date.

Sighing in irritation, I mentally reminded myself to tell Mrs. Gretchen to strip the sheets off my bed and replace them with brand new ones. She came in three times a week in the afternoons so she should be able to get that done as soon as possible.

I ran one hand through my hair and clicked out of the security app, glancing at the time on my phone.

It was ticking towards eight pm, and I realized I had stayed too late.

Just as I was clearing my desk to leave, my office door swung open and Elias stepped in, wearing a shit-eating grin.

“I see you’re packing up already. You must be excited about coming out tonight for my birthday celebration,” he said, and the unwelcome reminder made me swear under my breath.

Fuck, how had I forgotten about that? I had agreed to go out with him weeks ago, thinking I’d bring up an excuse when the day finally came, but now that it was here I couldn’t think of any suitable one.

I wasn’t being a bad friend or anything. It was just that the parties Elias threw were always wild, out of control. Strippers, alcohol, drugs, sex. They were always in abundance. His birthday celebrations were way worse. And my mood at the moment was the opposite of wanting to party but it was too late to back out of it now.

“I’m staying one hour, tops.” I tried to compromise but he just clicked his tongue at me.

“Nuh-uh. We’re partying through the night because the birthday boy said so. And I’m the birthday boy. So let’s get our asses moving.” He whooped but I didn’t move one inch, giving him a deadpan look.

He decided to change tactics. “The earlier we get there, the earlier you can leave you know.”

That got me moving and he resumed his whooping, following me out the door and into the private elevator.

“You should lose the suit.” He said when we stepped into the underground parking lot where Grayson was waiting by his green Maserati. He was my other friend in the business world and was way more levelheaded than Elias.“I know some chicks dig it but it’s going to be hot as balls in the club tonight because I invited literally everyone I know.”

I slid an unimpressed look his way. “You must be really excited to be turning twenty-eight.”

“What can I say? You only turn that age once.”

“You only turn all the other ages once as well, dumbass.” Grayson shook his head.

“Which is why we need to party it up every chance we get.” He declared with unholy glee before turning to me as I approached my car. “I’m carpooling with you, by the way. My Lambo’s getting a fresh coat and I’m planning on getting absolutely shitfaced to drive anyway.”

Elias made true on his words. As soon as we got to the upscale club that had been booked down for the night, he ordered a tray of shots and threw back every single one. Then he made every person who came by to wish him a happy birthday pour him a drink which he chugged back in seconds, grinning like a loon afterwards and whooping along with the energetic crowd.

I exchanged glances with Grayson, knowing there was something more to it than him just wanting to get plastered for the heck of it, but I let him have his fun.

Scantily-clad women were everywhere, sweaty bodies gyrating to the pulsing music under multi-colored strobe lights. When one of them in a skintight tube top and a skirt that could pass off as a belt crawled over my lap and planted her crotch right over my dick, it made me realize I hadn’t gotten laid in over a week.

The woman trailed sloppy kisses all over my jaw and I let her, thinking I could indulge myself for a few minutes since I hadn’t done that with alcohol. She grinded her pussy over my pants-covered cock and I realized she wasn’t wearing any panties.

When she grabbed my hand to try and shove it between our bodies with her tequila-soaked tongue invading my mouth, I pushed her away, deciding I was done with my bout of indulgence.

That was when I looked around the VIP section I was seated in and saw that Elias had thrown up over both the girls he had been making out with.

They shrieked and flew off him, leaving him sprawled out on the lounge seat a pathetic mess.

“Alright, that’s enough for the night buddy.” I told him when I got to him, lifting one of his arm to haul up his ass. Grayson materialized from nowhere and took his other hand, and together we led him out of the club and towards my car, leaving behind the still raging party.

“I’ll take him to my place. Make sure he doesn’t get alcohol poisoning or something.” I said to Grayson and he nodded, a somber look on his face as he stared at Elias snoring softly in my back seat.

I clapped him on the back and rounded my car to get into the driver’s seat, revving up the engine and pulling out of the club’s parking lot.

When I got to my building, one of the night duty guards helped me get his heavy ass into the elevator and we rode it to my suite. Then I made him throw up again, took off his soiled clothes, gave him a glass of water with aspirin, and dumped him in one of the guest rooms.

Heaving a tired sigh, I headed for the other guest room because there was no way I was sleeping in my bed after what Georgina had done on it.

I woke up the next morning feeling a bit weary from the events of last night. It also didn’t help I had gotten less than four hours of sleep.

I brushed my teeth and took a quick shower before getting dressed for work, planning on checking on Elias after I had breakfast.

I was stepping down the stairs when I heard muted conversation and laughter coming from the direction of the kitchen.

Thinking Coraline had managed to go against me a second time within a few hours by bringing a visitor into my home, I increased my strides towards the kitchen, anger clouding my thoughts.

“What the fuck is going on here?” I boomed as I entered the space, only to see a hungover-looking Elias and a confused-looking Coraline staring back at me.

CoralineGrocery shopping was the only part of my current job I enjoyed. Solely because I didn’t have to be around Alessio or his things while I did it.I pushed my almost full cart down the frozen foods aisle, searching for the vegetables section.Just as I found it and began perusing the shelves while grabbing what I needed, I heard the click-clacking of heels coming my way.“Oh look. If it isn’t the bitch who is trying to steal my man.”At first, I doubted the words had been meant for me. But looking around, I realized no one else was in the aisle. So I turned back to the stranger only to realize it was Georgina, the woman who had pretended to be Alessio’s girlfriend.I still didn’t know why she had done that. Except Alessio was lying. Then her words registered and my brows furrowed in confusion. “I’m sorry, I’m not sure I understand what you’re talking about.”She let out a string of Spanish words that were no doubt insults by the way she was glaring at me as she said them.“That

AlessioSomething was seriously wrong with me.Normally, I was a rational, levelheaded man. In both business and personal matters, I prided myself on making sensible decisions that yielded the best possible results.I was known for being logical. So why was it that ever since a tiny slip of a nineteen-year-old blonde girl entered into my life, I’d been anything but?I hadn’t been really conscious of my decision when I pulled Valentina upstairs to one of the guest rooms… or was it Veronica?I didn’t fuck the escorts I hired the next morning. They were usually gone by then. That was one of my non-negotiable rules. But I realized whenever Coraline was around, I tended to do everything the opposite way of what I normally did.I wanted to prove to myself that she wasn’t getting to me.That the whole time I was buried in another woman’s body, I wasn’t picturing her puckered nipples underneath her wet top in my car yesterday. Or fantasizing about sucking the turgid tips into my hot mouth and

Coraline“Was that your boss that dropped you off?” Ash asked the moment I stepped into our modest two-bedroom apartment, not even concerned about the way I was dripping from head to toe.“Yep,” I replied, popping the ‘p’ through my slightly chattering teeth.“Oh my gosh, for real?” she squealed.“He’s literally on his way to pick up a date as we speak so don’t be too excited.” I grabbed the hand towel she handed me and began drying off. “Why’s Marc here though?”“We planned a picnic date for today but the rain ruined it.”I shook my head at her. “Should have checked the weather forecast.”“Those things are never accurate, you know that.”I walked past her towards my room so I could take off my wet clothes, not bothering with a response. She was four years older than me and kind of like my polar opposite in appearance.Taking our dad’s features, she had brown hair and blue eyes while I took our mom’s with blonde hair and brown eyes. She had also taken his height while I had obviously

CoralineI spent the rest of my day after cooking for Alessio and his mystery date cooped up in the public library, researching for various online programs NYU might have.I had gotten a partial scholarship after graduating high school to study English Literature but had deferred it for a gap year because I didn’t have enough funds and wasn’t interested in taking out a loan. Now that summer was almost over and a new session would soon begin, plus I had a good paying job, I was ready to start classes online for my freshman year. Online so I could cut costs, and also work for survival.I was so engrossed in my research that I didn’t know the day had flown by till my phone began vibrating on the desk of my workstation.“It’s late and raining, Cora. Where are you?” Ash said when I picked the call.“Raining?” I hadn’t even realized that. Then I checked the time and saw it was twenty minutes past five. “Woah, my bad. Will be on my way now.”“Okay. Be safe. Get an umbrella too.” I packed up

CoralineIt was officially confirmed. My boss was mental. He looked ready to strangle someone as he burst into the kitchen, features stony and expression livid. It made me wonder what someone could be so mad about this early in the morning.“Jeez Louise, Ale.
