Next day.

I take the final bite of the pancake before dumping the rest back on the plate.

Arabella is at the other end of the table munching hers like she isn't going anywhere. She's already dressed for school and running late, but doesn't look bothered.

Yesterday was one hell of a hectic night. Convincing Arabella that she isn't ugly wasn't easy. She stood in front of the mirror and found fault with literally everything she had, from her tiny blue eyeballs to her V-shaped mouth, her collarbone, and no matter how hard I tried, she still insisted that one of her ears was bigger than the other. She then turned her back to the mirror and complained about how flat it was. She even told me her classmates have bigger boobs and that hers is the smallest of all. It was stressful but worth it. After everything, she agreed with me and finally went to bed.

I thought it was over until exactly twelve when she woke me up to ask about the plan I have against Logan. I don't even bother answering
