Amelie was still sleeping when Kimmy and Morgan came to our room, then shortly after, Madison showed up because Morgan had called her. I had them all sit out in the living room area so we could discuss the plan of attack. I also texted Dr. Yvonne.
“I’m not sure what to do,” I said, running my hand through my hair. “It’s really hitting her hard.”
“Poor Amelie,” Madison said. “I can’t imagine the memories this is bringing up for her.”
“I want to go in the room and be there just in case she wakes up,” Morgan stated. “I don’t want her to be alone.”
“That might be a good idea. Maybe just one of you, though. I don’t want her to be overwhelmed,” I agreed. “I need to go and figure some stuff out for the plane tonight. Dutton said I can come to his room, so that Amelie doesn’t hear anything.”
