I woke up feeling the sun's heat painfully striking my skin. Slowly, I lifted my body from the bed and realized I wasn't wearing anything, chilled by the cold against my skin. Despite a slight headache, I managed to open my still blurry eyes, rubbing my head and stretching.

I want to cover my naked body but there's something heavy weighed on the comforter i tried to pull. With my eyes half-closed, I fumbled with one hand while reaching for the blanket with the other. To my surprise, what I touched wasn't the blanket but something hard. Instantly awake, I fully ope

ned my eyes to see what it was beside me.

"Oh my god! Who are you? What are you doing here?" I shouted, realizing this wasn't my boyfriend. That time i also realize that i'm not in my own room.

I rush myself to get out of the bed, but I winced as a sharp pain shot through my abdomen. I look at the man next to me, still deeply asleep, unaffected by my loud outburst. Unsure of what to say or do next, I saw my clothes scattered on the floor and quickly picked them up, wincing through the pain between my legs as I moved.

My cellphone suddenly rang, and I found it atop the bedside table. I quickly answered, seeing the caller's name on the screen. "Thank God, Yumi, you finally picked up! Where are you right now? Why aren't you in your condo? I've been looking for you since last night. What happened to you!?" My manager's voice was loud, so I held the phone slightly away from my ear.

As I held my phone, a headache suddenly struck, causing me to drop the blanket covering me. "Ah! Shit!"

"Yumi! Send me your location, I'll come get you right away wherever you are!" my manager demanded.

Before I could think of what else to do, I composed myself. Ignoring the man still lying in bed, I quickly sent my location to my manager to handle the situation. It would be difficult if he woke up.

"Yumiii! What’s the meaning of this?" Manager Kim burst into the room where I was. I couldn't answer because I really didn't know and couldn't remember anything.

"What is this, and who the hell is he?" another familiar voice followed Manager Kim's. It was none other than my long-time boyfriend, Jerome.

He furrowed his brows, glaring at the man on the bed. "Babe, just give me a moment to explain," but Jerome ignored me, pushing me aside and confronting the still unknown man lying on the bed.

"Who are you? Hey! Wake up!" Jerome shouted, shaking the man who was still lying face down.

"Ah! What’s going on? Why are you so loud? Who are you? What's your problem?" the groggy man without clothes mumbled.

"My head hurts, shit!" he added.

"J-Jerome?" the man said Jerome's name in surprise as he rubbed his eyes. "What are you doing here? Why are you so angry?"

Jerome didn't reply, instead delivering a swift punch to the man before quickly leaving the room.

I ignored the man, now slowly regaining consciousness, and hurried after Jerome.

"Jeromeee! Wait, let me explain," I caught up with him and grasped his hand. "Please, let me explain. I don't know why I'm here or what I don't remember anything. I don't know what i'am doing next to him. I just woke up then, that's it." I panickedly explained to him.

Jerome turned to me with a blank expression. "Let's just finish this movie then finish this bullshit relationship. I don't need to hear your explanation because I won't believe anything comes to your mouth. Specially, I can't continue a relationship with a woman who's been with another man," he said coldly, causing my knees to weaken at his words. I felt shattered by how he looked at me. The tears I had been holding back finally fell.

"Yumi!" Manager Kim called out from behind me. She helped me stand up. "Give him some time. I'll talk to him and prove that you didn't intend for this to happen," she said.

We arrived at the parking lot and got into her car. "I talked to Gabrielle. She won't issue any statements. She also signed with me. I'll take care of the CCTV footage too."

I didn't reply as she started the car and drove me back to my condo.

"I came here as soon as I heard what happened. Yumi, how are you?" Shaira asked worriedly, my close friend.

"My head hurts. Can you please leave me alone for now? I just need to rest," I pleaded with both of them.

"I am Emerirah Ferrer, an artist, a commercial model, and a beauty queen. I may not have won yet, but i am always in a runner-up. My parents are not wealthy as my new parents now but I still have many dreams and things to do for myself, so I haven't stopped yet. I have already made many movies and commercials, and I have come a long way from my past life.

"Yumii! Yumiiiii! Anak. How was your day? Aren't you tired from your studies today?" my mom said as she gently stroked my face.

"Mama? Mamaa. Mama, please stay here." "Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" slowly faded from the light in front of me.

I hurriedly opened my eyes and sat up from lying down. Mom is always there during the down moments of my life. I didn't realize I had fallen asleep.

Shaira anxiously approached me. "What happened? Are you okay now?" she asked, concerned.

"I don't know him. I don't know why I was there, besh. I really don’t remember everything," I cried while hugging my friend. No matter how hard I tried to remember anything but there's nothing comes on my mind, I couldn't remember anything. All I knew was that we had a premiere night, then I went back to the hotel, and after that, I don't know what happened next.

"Shhh. Stop crying so much, it's not good for you. You still have a photoshoot," she said, trying to calm me down. "We saw the CCTV footage, though we've deleted all copies now. Based on what I saw, you kissed the guy first and went into his room. I'm sorry, but I thought it would be hard for you to think about, so I told you the truth."

I cried even harder upon realizing the truth.

"I surrender myself for the first time on someone i didn't know. A one night stand to a stranger."
