Chapter 50

The next morning.

Kate knew the previous day had gone and yet, the pills she bought hadn't worked again. She laid beside Richie and watched as he slept so peacefully. She couldn't believe it.

"What the hell is wrong?" She asked as she looked at him. She was sure those pills were fake. She hated how she had her hopes up.

"So much for some cheap drugs." She palmed her face as she spoke. She rolled her eyes and looked at Riche. There weren't so many thoughts that went through her head but there were some thoughts. Kate had drafted out her plans and when they didn't work through she had sleepless nights instead.

She sat up and sighed. She yawned and looked around the room. Richie was fast asleep. He didn't have a worry in sight. She raked him and his ugly faces at him.

Richie, who wasn't awake yet, didn't have any idea what she was doing or what she was up to. Kate remembered the night before and how she ran like a lifeless chicken when she thought she would have a tas
