“Somebody help him." I screamed out, trying to keep the pressure on his chest. He was bleeding, bleeding so bad.

There was chaos all over, people were running around, everyone was trying to get to safety.

“Max, please look at me, please." I pleaded with him, tears streaming down my face so hard.

“Ma’am the ambulance is here, you have to let go." The paramedic said.

They were here, I did not realize they had arrived. “No! I won't let him go, don't make me please."

“Ma’am we are trying to do our work, he's in safe hands now and you can follow us at the back." The man said calmly.

I let Max go and the paramedic immediately attended to him. looking up I found people looking at me, cameras everywhere and June looking at me.

I had forgotten we were still at the function, I knew before the end of the night everyone in New York would know what happened this night.
