Caira's POV

There was a loud gasp by everyone Immediately she said that, I also felt  my heart skipped a beat when I heard my name.

oh my gosh !!! Why Mikel??  How am I supposed to cope with him through out this semester?. firstly, I had to share the same class room with Mikel, and now, I am stuck with him through out my remaining years in school and my success and guarantee on leaving high school depends on him!!...oh sh*t!!! He is definitely gonna recognize me this time around

The remaining picking process was so boring and in no time, we were done

"congratulations class!! now that everyone now has a study partner, you can now proceed with the required arrangements with your study partner, because there  would be a chemistry practical next week, which is compulsory for anyone who wants to pass Mr Jones  chemistry class, So I would advise y'all to start a combine reading or experimental practical quiz in order for you both not to mess up on the main practicals or presentations,

 after school hours, you can all meet with your study partners and make arrangements for your location/times of study, which would be decided by the person who did the picking. Have a nice day class!!" miss Bianca concluded and left the class room.

In no time we were done with class for that day, everyone went to their various study partners, but I was the only one who couldn't approach mine, I was Soo scared to approach him, and he didn't even seem to  care about meeting me or knowing my opinion about the upcoming practical,  in my own opinion, I think he cared less because his father was the CEO of this school and whether he pass or not, it doesn't really matters, he is still going to college,...but I really needed to talk to him, because this was my only way to get to college, but I don't know how to face him.

Later, An idea came popping into mind, 

I thought of writing down my request on a piece of paper and handing it over to mikel's nice friend, since he looks much more approachable than Mikel. I quickly scribbled some words into a piece of paper, I was still writing when I saw Zack walking towards Mikel's car, so I ran to catch up with him before he goes home

" hello" I said upon reaching him.

"oh...hi beautiful !!, What's up??"  He said turning to face me

" sorry for taking your time but I just want you to help me deliver this letter to your friend Mikel, you can tell him that the letter is from his new study partner" I said handing over the piece of paper to him.

"alright dear, but I think you look familiar, have we met before??" He said staring at me intensely.

I felt my heart thumping really fast Immediately he said that, oh my God!!, I really need to leave before he recognizes me.

"uhmm...no, no, ....I don't think you Know me!! I mean,  we've never met before, right ? I guess I will just get going" I said as I took to my heels immediately.

"I really can't believe that I was merged with that dummy called Tony, while that bitch was merged with Mikel!!" Janelle said angrily

"I always knew that girl was up to no good" Jane said perfunctorily

"So, what are you planning to do now, would you just let her be?" Jenny asked 

"I think I need to see Mrs Bianca, I am ready to pay any price so I can be merged with Mikel, I can't let any bitch take my place, because this is the only way that I can get closer to Mikel and make him fall in love with me" janeJan said

"alright dear, but you better do that snappy before the upcoming practical" Jane said scrolling through her phone.

"what's up jane? Are you and Jason really preparing for the upcoming practical or....

"not really sweetie, I and Jason have agreed to be meeting at his place every evening by 7:30pm–11:00pm" Jane said interrupting Jenny from finishing her statement.

"jezz girl !!!, Isn't it way too late to meet for studies by that time of the night?? And why the hell are you both meeting at his place, you could probably meet in the school library by 8:00am–11:00am, or Christ sake Jane,  he should be your study partner and not your s*x partner" Jenny said while Jane laughed out loud.

"you must be joking if you really think I and Jason are just gonna be study partners till the end of this semester, this is a golden opportunity which I can't let go, I now have more than enough excuse to hangout with Jason and come back home anytime I feel like, without my dad questioning me about my where about" Jane said excitedly

"Look Jane, I really think this whole thing is....

"Jenny, I really think you're taking this whole thing too personal because you don't have a boyfriend to hangout with, I think we really need to get you one so that you can stop being jealous anytime I mention Jason's name" Jane said cutting Jenny off nicely.

"Jane did you just said that to me"Jenny said with a gasp as she hit Jane with a pillow while Jane laughed out loud.

Zack and Mikel were both on their way going home when Zack suddenly remembered that he was having an undelivered message from caira.

"that reminds me Mikel, there is a message for you, the letter is from your new study partner" Zack said handing over the letter to mikel

"what's it all about" he asked as he collected the letter from Zack.

"probably a love letter"  Zack answered humorously.

Mikel opened the letter and read quietly, and just when Zack was about asking him about the content of the letter, he squeezed the paper and threw it through the window.

I got home and laid down tiredly on the sofa, I was Soo exhausted. I still find it hard to believe that I got merged with Mikel. I couldn't even understand how I felt about it, I don't know how I would be able to cope with that rich spoilt brat called Mikel. I really need to start learning how to tolerate this guy, if we are really gonna work as a team. but come to think of it, I'll be able to see his handsome face every day right??

Janelle stood in front of miss bianca's door as she pushed the door bell.

 She heard her responded so she waited for her to get the door. While waiting patiently for her,  she decided to feed her eyes for a while. Her apartment was really small and needed reconstruction, Janelle was very sure that miss bianca would accept her offer. Of cause,!! no human being in her condition would decline such a huge offer all in the name of sincerity.

After few seconds of waiting, she finally opened the door.

When miss bianca saw Janelle, there was confusion written all over her face, she was probably imagining what could have brought the almighty Janelle Smith to her dirty apartment, for a while she stood dumbfounded but she was finally able to find her voice.

"Janelle what brings you here" she said with a faux smile.

"can I at least come in?" Janelle asked with an eye roll.

"forgive my manners dear, please come in" she said ushering Janelle in.

When they got inside the sitting room, Janelle sat down on her sofa rudely. The room was quite small but  it was clean and well organized.

"my dear, what can I offer you" miss Bianca said to Janelle.

"Nothing ma'am, I am not here to visit nor waste your precious time,....I am  here to strike a deal with you" Janelle said with a smirk.
