Chapter Forty Seven

Three weeks later

Miesa got better thankfully after her bone marrow transplant and she was discharged but she’d have to go for a follow up appointment every three to four months which she was thrilled about. She couldn’t spend another minute in that hospital.

“Welcome home baby.” Ellie smiled with tears in her eyes. She was so glad that her baby was better now and it was all thanks to Tristan. He'd been compatible with her so the doctors hadn't seen any reason not to go ahead with the transplant. Hopefully that was the end of the leukemia nightmare.

“It’s good to be home." Miesa said. "Where’s Tristan?”.

“Here Sis.” Tristan appeared from only God knows where with a huge smile on his face and a bouquet of rose flowers.

“Tristan!”. She squealed and ran to hug him shocking her parents with her energy.

“Be careful princess.” Cesar said.

“I’m so happy to see you!". She drew back to look up at him. She glanced over her shoulder to her father. "He’s ours to keep right?”
