Chapter 13.

[Kim's Point of view]

I think this was starting to become a routine, always waking up in the middle of the night, exploring the fridge for a midnight snack, and grabbing a cup of ice cream but this time, I didn't remain in the kitchen as I strolled back my room with a vast grin on my face.

Ice cream always brought my mood up.

However, waddling past Arthur's door, I unexpectedly paused and retreated my steps and peered at the closed door with turmoil while faint growls and groans came from the other side.

My heart whizzed, thinking something had happened as I deliberately knocked on the door. "Arthur, are you alright in there?"

I waited for an answer but I didn't get one. I nearly nudged the door opened but curtailed the idea as I recalled how furious he was when I step into his space.

Should I get the helpers? But everyone was already somnolent? What if by the time I return from calling someone he had gotten badly maimed? Should I risk getting screeched again? But I was only trying to
