"Royal entertainment has a proposition for you Amy. T-they want to sign you back but… there's a condition."

Amelia could hear her manager Natalie hesitating to speak through the phone.

Two days had passed since Ethan had told her to be prepared. He had somehow gotten wind of what they were planning to do to her.

"They are undecided… they fired me now they want me back? Tell me… what's the condition?" She asked, trying not to sound rude. Natalie was just being used to relay the message.

"They said you should be Cheryl's understudy in the upcoming musical movie that she plans to be the female lead…"

Amelia scoffed, "so that's it? Cheryl just wants to feel superior? It's not my fault that she has an inferiority complex."

"Um… Amy, I think you should take the offer. You kind of exhausted all your funds when reimbursing those companies," Natalie advised.
