"Miss Amelia Scott, what do you have for us today?" The director of the movie, Peter Harrison asked. He was one of the judges seated on the panel.

"Hi everyone. I will be auditioning with Celine Dion's, it's all coming back," Amelia said while holding the microphone on the tripod boom stand.

"Wow! Good choice. Show us what you got!" One of the judges, a woman in her mid fifties said enthusiastically.

Amelia cleared her throat, her heart a pounding mess in her chest. She had always had her own concerts but somehow that day, she was nervous. It was her first time auditioning for a role in a movie.

Pretending that the judges were her baby brother, Owen, she held the microphone tighter and began to sing.

If I just listened to it right outside the window….
