Chapter 1: A sudden collapse

Margaret's pov:

“I want you to fuck me until I am unable to walk anymore. I want you to fuck me until I reach my peak several times and do not have strength to get there anymore. Fuck me, baby”

Gasping, his hands stroked her pussy gently, Caroline quivered with excitement, she felt yet another squirt erupt from her. She saw Bryce's swollen cock and reached out to suck it like a child sucking momma's breast. Bryce placed Caroline on his hard swollen cock jerking out moans. “Fuck me!” “Fuck me daddy” Caroline moaned out. After a series of hardcore sex. Caroline laid on the bed having several thoughts, “did I just have sex with a boy young enough to be my son?” "Is this right?” she thought.

Where it all began…

Caroline's voice shook the walls. “I will never marry Ethan! How can you and Dad be so cruel? None of you care about my happiness, only money!”

I folded my arms, trying to keep my composure, but inside I was fuming. “You think love will pay your bills? You think happiness alone will put a roof over your head and clothes on your back?”

She glared at me, tears brimming in her eyes. “At least love is real! Unlike this obsession you have with status and wealth. You’re selling me off like I’m a product.”

I stepped closer, lowering my voice but not my conviction. “I’m protecting your future, Caroline. That’s what mothers do. Ethan is stable, powerful, and comes from a good family. That boy you keep running around with has nothing, no background, no future.

The afternoon had started out calm, almost peaceful. The sky stretched out in a soft blanket of blue, the sun warm but not harsh, and a gentle breeze danced through the garden. Richard lounged by the pool in his backyard, eyes closed behind tinted glasses, enjoying the rare quiet. The sound of birds chirping and the gentle lapping of the water against the pool’s edge created a soothing melody. Then his phone rang, shattering the peace. He didn’t recognize the number, but something told him to answer.

"Hello?" Richard said, his voice cautious.

But there was only silence. Then a click. Richard’s grip tightened around the phone; his stomach dropped. The world shifted, and he felt like he was falling. He sat frozen, mind racing, the soft breeze suddenly feeling like a gale.

Moments later, I entered the pool-area house, my steps light at first, then unsure. "Honey, lunch is ready," I called, my bright voice echoing slightly. Richard didn’t move.

"Honey? I said lunch is ready." I stepped closer and gently shook his shoulder. He turned slowly, eyes unfocused, lips parted. "My business… is gone," he said in a hollow whisper. "Many years of hard work… down the drain."

My heart pounded. I reached for his arm, my hand wrapping around it like a vice. "What do you mean? What happened?" I demanded, my voice rising.

Richard ignored my question. He planted his feet firmly on the ground, his eyes flashing with determination. "I need to get out of here," he muttered, more to himself than to me.

"Richard, talk to me!" I cried, shaking his arm. "What’s going on?"

But he just shook his head, threw the lounge chair back, grabbed his car keys off the table, and walked out of the house into the driveway.

My voice caught in my throat. "Richard, wait! Don’t leave like this!" I shouted, running after him. But he was already in his car, starting the engine. The roar of the motor was a thunderclap in my mind. Without looking back, Richard drove away, dust trailing behind the car.

I stood there, frozen, watching as he disappeared down the road. My pulse was racing. Fear wrapped tight around my chest, squeezing the air out of my lungs. I had no idea what had just happened. The words “my business is gone” echoed through my brain like a death knell.

I fumbled for my phone, my hands shaking as I dialed my daughter's number, Caroline. "Caroline," I said into the phone, my voice shaking. "Come home now. Something’s wrong with your father."

Caroline, who had been at her boyfriend's house, Williams that afternoon, scrambled to gather her things. She grabbed her bag, stuffed her phone into her pocket, and rushed out the door. Every step felt heavy, her mind churning with worry. She hailed a taxi and jumped in, her heart racing with anticipation.

The road blurred past her as she sat in the back seat, her fingers clenched tightly in her lap. Her chest rose and fell with shallow breaths. She didn’t know what had happened, but the tremble in my voice, the urgency of my words, told her it was bad. Very bad.

By the time she arrived at the house, the sun was already beginning to set, casting long shadows across the driveway. I stood near the entrance, pacing, arms folded tightly across my chest, my face pale and anxious. Caroline jumped out of the taxi and rushed to my side.

"Where is Dad?" she asked, barely catching her breath.

I looked at her with wide, tear-brimmed eyes. "He just… left. He didn’t tell me anything. He said his business was gone, Caroline. That everything he built is finished."

Caroline’s heart sank. She felt like she was drowning in a sea of uncertainty. "What? That’s impossible!" she exclaimed, her voice rising. "Dad’s business is everything to him!"

I shook my head, feeling helpless. "I don’t know what happened, sweetie. He just said it was gone."

Caroline’s face contorted in frustration. "We need to find him! We need to talk to him!" she said, pacing back and forth.

As the night wore on, Caroline’s anxiety grew. She tried calling her father’s phone, but it went straight to voicemail. She left message after message, each one more desperate than the last. Where was he? What had happened? And what did he mean by “my business is gone”?

The questions swirled in her mind, taunting her. She paced back and forth in the living room, her footsteps echoing off the walls. I sat on the couch, my eyes fixed on the TV, my face a mask of worry.

The hours ticked by, each one feeling like an eternity. The house grew quiet, the only sound was the ticking of the clock on the wall. Caroline’s eyes began to droop, her eyelids heavy with exhaustion. But she couldn’t sleep. Not until her father was safe.

And then, just as she was starting to drift off, the phone rang. Caroline’s heart leapt into her throat as she rushed to answer it. "Hello?" she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

But it was just a wrong number. Caroline’s heart sank, and she felt like crying. She looked at me, and I could see the fear in her eyes. We were in this together, waiting for news, waiting for answers.

As we sat in silence, Caroline’s mind was racing with questions. Where was her father? What had happened to his business? And what did he mean by “my business is gone”?

My thoughts were racing too. I was worried about Richard, worried about our family, and worried about our future. The two of us sat in the dark, waiting for the night to pass, waiting for answers, waiting for Richard to come home.

As the sun began to rise, casting a golden glow over the house, Caroline and I stood at the window, looking out at the empty driveway. "I don’t know what to do, Mom," Caroline said, her voice shaking.

"We just have to wait, sweetie," I replied, trying to comfort her. "We’ll get through this together."

The two of us stood in silence, watching the sun rise, waiting for the day to begin, waiting for answers, waiting for Richard to come home.

As we stood there, Caroline’s phone beeped. She looked at the screen, hoping it was her father. But it was just a text from her friend, asking how she was doing. Caroline sighed and looked at me.

"We’ll get through this, Mom," she said, trying to reassure me.

I smiled weakly and nodded. We would get through this, together.
