Chapter 10

I was lying on the bed when the door opened, and Sean walked in.

Coming to sit at the foot of the bed, he takes a long puff from his cigar.

"How are you doing cupcake." He asks.

Ignoring my unresponsive attitude, he continues to say. "Tonight, I have a job for you." He tells me. "You'll be entertaining an important client."

Surprised and scared, I sit up to face him.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I have been offered good cash for my finest and best." He tells me.

A nervous laugh escapes my lips. "What do you mean? I never dance for anyone."

"Well, this client is different." He says. "And I am still disappointed in you, so you might as well pay for your mistake because it cost me."

At this moment, my heart was racing. Was he finally tired of me letting others see me? I can't let this happen. I have to find an excuse to avoid this.

Laying back down, I mumble."Am tired,"
