Tyler’s POV

The moment I stepped out of Makell Holdings, I took a long breath of fresh air like I had just escaped a war zone. My head was still spinning from the conversation with Quin.

Four months.

Stay married to him for four months. The man had completely lost his mind. I shoved my hands into my pockets and started walking toward the street. The evening air was cool, but it did nothing to calm the irritation burning in my chest.

Quin McKenzie really believed he could just throw money at

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    The Fall

Quin's POV"Finally. She's had too much freedom."Jake replied thirty seconds later.I stared at the screen for a long moment before locking the phone and putting it into my pocket. For weeks we had been reacting. Tyler gets threatened—we investigate,Tyler gets hit by a car—we investigate, My penthouse burns—we investigate.Enough is enough.I was finished collecting evidence while someone systematically tried to destroy the people I loved. This time we were going to her.The next morning Tyler was still asleep when I left. For a moment I stood beside the bed and simply watched him. The bruises had mostly faded. The cuts were healing. Color had returned to his face. The damage his mother had inflicted was not the kind that showed up on scans. That was the worst part.I brushed a hand through his hair. He stirred, eyes still closed.“Mmm…”“Go back to sleep .”He immediately closed his fingers around my wrist without opening his eyes. “Where are you going?”I almost smiled. Half-asleep

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    Crossing the line

Quin's POVHating your child was one thing.Trying to kill him was another. And that was the line Tyler’s mother had crossed.I sat alone in my office long after the rest of the house had gone quiet, the only light coming from the desk lamp and the soft blue glow of the monitors. Files covered every available surface—Jake’s reports, printed security stills, phone records, IP traces, and bank statements that had been highlighted, annotated, and re-annotated until the pages looked bruised.Every road led back to the same place.Tyler’s mother.I wanted to find a flaw. Not out of any lingering desire to protect her—I felt nothing but cold contempt for the woman—but because Tyler still needed the possibility of one. Despite years of manipulation, emotional abuse, threats, and relentless harassment, a part of him continued to hope she wasn’t capable of something this monstrous.Reality, unfortunately, did not care what any of us needed. The evidence was cold, brutal, and unforgiving. Multi

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    Home isn't a place

Tyler's POVFour days later, I was finally being discharged.Personally, I thought I was doing great. Sure, my arm was still in a cast, my ribs still hurt every time I laughed and I still got dizzy if I stood up too quickly. But compared to waking up in a hospital bed wondering if my legs still worked? I was thriving. The doctors disagreed. They had kept me for four extra days, running tests and scans and observing me like I was some kind of rare zoo animal after giving me hope that I would leave earlier. Every morning somebody came in to shine a light into my eyes, ask me annoying questions and reminded me not to do anything stupid.I had never been more eager to leave a building in my life. The only good thing about the extra days was Quin. He never left. Not really. Jake practically had to force him to shower. Cassie had threatened him with bodily harm if he didn’t sleep at least a few hours. I love her for that. The nurses had started greeting him like he worked there.I glanced o

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    Next time you won't be so lucky

Tyler's POVQuin finally pulled away after kissing me for what felt like hours. I wasn't complaining though.I stared at him like he was the only lifeline I had. Maybe it was the concussion or maybe I had simply missed him that much. Either way, seeing him sitting beside my hospital bed still felt unreal.Quin noticed me staring. “What?”I shook my head. “You stayed.”His expression softened immediately. “Of course I stayed.”“No, I mean…” My voice came out rough. “You really did stick around for me.”Cassie snorted from her chair. “He practically moved into this room.”Quin shot her a warning look. She ignored him completely.“ It's true. He refused to go home,” she continued.“Technically I didn’t have a home to go to,” Quin pointed out.I groaned. “Right. The fire.”The reminder wiped the almost-smile from my face. I looked at him again. “How bad is it?”His jaw tightened. “ It's Bad.”“Define bad.”“everything in the kitchen, living room and bedroom is gone."I winced at that info

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    Waking up and almost having a Panic attack

Tyler’s POVThe moment I blinked my eyes open the first person I saw was Quin. He had his back to me and someone who looked like my mother was in the room. I must have seen something wrong. Quin wouldn't let her get close, so it couldn't possibly be her. My eyes moved and I saw a few nurses at the door.“…Quin?” He paused, then turned around to look at me.The word scraped out of my throat like it was made of sandpaper. Everything hurt, my head, arm and chest. Even breathing felt like serious work. For a few seconds I had no idea where I was. The ceiling was white. Bright lights stabbed at my eyes. There was that sharp, clean hospital smell—antiseptic and medicine.Hospital.The memory came back slowly. How the car appeared out of nowhere while I read a message on my phone. Then pain exploded behind my eyes and a groan slipped out of me.“Tyler.” he whisperedQuin’s voice.I would know that voice anywhere, even through the fog in my head. Suddenly he was right there. His hands cupped

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    Things We Do For Love

Quin's POV“Your penthouse is on fire.”The words should have sent me running. A month or two ago they would have. A week ago they definitely would have.My penthouse wasn’t just an apartment. It was years of my life carefully curated into one space—priceless artwork, important documents, irreplaceable memories, and enough expensive pieces to make insurance adjusters weep. Under normal circumstances, the news would have triggered immediate action. But as I sat beside Tyler’s hospital bed, holding his uninjured hand while he remained stubbornly unconscious, I discovered something surprising.I didn’t care. I didn't care enough to leave. I looked at Tyler’s sleeping face. The choice wasn’t even difficult.“The firefighters are already there, right?” I asked Gabriel.“Yes, sir.”“Is everyone evacuated?”“Yes.”“Good.”“Sir… aren’t you coming?”“No. Thank you for letting me know.”The word left my mouth without hesitation. Without doubt."But sir, your home..."My home is currently lying i

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    Unexpected Headlines

Tyler's POV "Heir to the Makell Empire Allegedly got married to a man in Vegas" Below the headline was a picture of me wearing a mask and Quin standing opposite me putting a ring on my damn finger. Wait, why was I even panicking? It's not like anyone would recognise me. The picture was kinda bl

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    Face to Face With Trouble

Tyler's POV It couldn't be. How was Quinn seated behind the huge desk of the office of the CEO.Was I missing something ?" Good morning sir" my voice came out clearly hiding any form of suspicion. • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    Drunken Mistake

Tyler's POV I prefer dream Quin to real Quin. Real Quin hated me and was most definitely straight. He kept fucking and hitting my prostrate, earning more screams from me. At some point he pulled the pillow from under me , flipped me over and held my ass to the air. I was soo close to the edge. I

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    Drinks with The Devil

Tyler's pov "You ungrateful piece of shit,” my mom yelled through the phone. “After everything I’ve done for you, Tyler. I even decided to keep you instead of flushing you out when I had the opportunity to.” It was nothing new, but the story was always new. “I told you I don’t have that kind
