Maybe it wasn't the best of ideas to follow the threads Hades had created to connect with his no-fur, at least not in his present condition, but King felt compelled. He had let this entire thing go on under his watch for too long. Sure, he wasn't as strong as he could be. Hades had managed to steal far more of his God's aura than King thought possible.
But the thing about a God's aura was there was an infinite amount if you had the strength to harness it. At the moment, King wasn't up to the standards of wielding it, but the gruff Grey-fur believed in his ability to recover quickly.
There was a part of him that was screaming this idea was ill-conceived. That he should wait a little longer to make his move. Maybe try to catch up with power-mad Hades and beat the stupid out of the cocksure Black-fur and maybe in the process he could vent some of it out of himself.
