Making it Through

I had pulled myself together and continued with the day as Laura had instructed. It was not as easy had I had thought it would be but once I was received by so many support priestesses it flew by. I just poured myself into helping. First working on decorations, then cleaning, and finally, I had to force myself to get through the food portion. That was by far the most difficult but I just did my best to think of others things.

I felt the distinct hinting of my wolf rummaging through my head and starting to put ideas in my head that weren’t there prior. I knew she was becoming more and more powerful throughout the day and I wondered when we would finally be one and what the feelings would be like. Would I know how to control her? Would she be able to control me? I even found myself wondering what her thoughts were about the day.

The best part about the whole day thought was I didn’t have to suffer through another meal with the High Priestess at least not on this day
