I had fallen asleep and was dosing naked on the bed when I woke up to noises coming from the bathroom and Rogan being gone. I looked around for something to put on quickly and saw Rogan’s suit jacket still on the floor. I slipped it on and took in a deep breath breathing in his smell it was completely enthralling to my wolf nose and I would recognize his smell anywhere forever more. The jacket was large on me due to his broad shoulders and defined body it went down past my butt and easily covered my front. I enjoyed wearing his clothes and told myself I needed to do more of this at least. I’d all but forgotten why I was reluctant at the moment to be here instead of alone in my room. I meant to go look in the bathroom but instead, I become enthralled with looking quietly around his room. There were pictures here and there of him and his friends. I told myself we needed to take more pictures to hang up if I was going to stay here and in general the entire room was neat. I lo
I woke up before her and she had turned so I could see her I slowly moved and watched as she dreamed. I could tell it was intense but then again from what she had shared about her dreams, I wasn’t surprised. I’d hope she was resting the way she needed to and now looked at her hand. I could not believe I had done that to her. The shame of realizing it and her even allowing herself to be in the same room was too much for me. I had to get out. I quietly slipped on some clothes and went down to the basement where the pack gym was. It was on the opposite side of the prison area and as I made it down the stairs I debated about taking out some of my energy on that rogue wolf and him trying to hurt Kellina too but the fact was when I thought about it he hadn’t even touched her and he could of. He could have hurt badly just like he had done to the guards that were stupid enough to let him prance around as if he wasn’t dangerous. My thoughts now as I was getting ready to open the gym door w
As I drifted off to sleep I found myself floating through the air up above the pack house, past my little cottage where Laura and Rollo were, and into the woods. I went right to the waterfall that had become so special to Rogan and me then finally landed on my feet feeling the bare leaves and twigs that lay on the ground below me. I walked towards the waterfall when a bright light from the moon shined down from below. I used my hand to cover my eyes and when I took it down behold there was my grandmother the red-haired beauty, my mother with her snow-white hair, and my father with his almost brown but that tint of reading standing before me. My excitement got the better of me and this time I ran directly into my father’s arms. Part of me knew it was a dream, but the fatherly love emersed me and I could have stayed there forever. I heard my grandmother and mother laugh at the joyous seen of us together. Finally letting go, “I am so happy I can see you again but I don’t understand w
“You're serious? You will let me talk to him and see what he knows?” I was in complete shock at Rogan’s words and had to make sure I wasn’t imagining things. “Yeah, we’ve worked it all out.” Rogan grinned proudly at me. “And when you see we? Do you mean Erin? Am I hearing this right?” I felt like I might still be dreaming and secretly dug my nails into my palm to see if I could feel it. I was almost more surprised to realize I felt the nails going into my skin. “Kel, you really are looking at me like I’m crazy but here’s the deal. Erin and I ran into each other at the gym. We talked and we both agree you might be able to get some answers from that red wolf that we can’t but we also want to ensure you’re safe. So here is the deal, if he makes a comment I don’t like I can’t guarantee I will keep my cool but I think Erin can because he is used to protecting you despite what he hears and sees, and to be clear that is the only way we will allow you to go in there.” I knew what th
“Don’t worry about me I can handle the cool air just fine.” Even though I was freezing I wouldn’t admit it to him. “I just saw you shudder little wolf and I hate to think a little wolf as you get treated like that around all these other big bad wolves who think they are better than everyone.” I knew we were getting somewhere. “So is that your issue with our pack is that there are a lot of wolves here that think they are better than everyone else?” I was sure not to change my tone so he felt no emotion behind it. “My problem with this pack little wolf is that the Mystic Moon pack was the best of everything and doesn’t want to share with any other packs.” “Any other packs, like who?” He began laughing instantaneously as I asked the question. He pointed his finger at me shaking it rapidly. “You’re a good little wolf better than these dumbasses.” Erin huffed in annoyance at his words. “You won’t get me to talk that easily little wolf.” I looked at him intrigued, “So wha
He walked us directly up the stairs to a door in the front of the house. I assumed it was his office. He stopped before he opened the door and then turned around to look at Rogan and Erin. “You two will wait here. “ Rogan tried to step in but the Alpha put his hand out. “That is an order son.” He then turned to look at me. “Please come in.” He held the door open for me as I walked in. I looked around and took in my surroundings. It was a large office complete with a table area, and a view of the outside with I was guessing tinted windows maybe even bulletproof. I mean this was our Alpha. It had a large oak desk that looked as if someone had slaved to create the beautiful piece of art and knowing our pack it was likely homemade. We didn’t like to order things from the human world if at all possible. The room seemed comfortable and he motioned for me to sit in the comfortable black chair as he went around to sit at his desk. He pulled his set up close to me so we were face to face. “Y
Back in the bedroom, Rogan paced the floors and I wondered if the pack house was built extra sturdy because he was liable to burn a hole into the wood. “This is such bullshit! He never told us once that this crap had happened. He had made us all believe we were safe but we aren’t because there is the Red Crescent Pack lurking around with us not even knowing how dangerous they were. Then he expects you to keep talking to a member of the pack that could harm you easily. I mean look what he did to the guards! Fuck! My father is such a coward he should have just killed off the damn pack instead of letting them grow and become a larger threat!” Rogan continued to rant I grabbed some water drank the glass and then made my way over to the bed sitting still listening. I wasn’t sure how long it would go on but I was sure Rogan was going to need to get this out so I let him. His veins bulged in every part of his body and even though his face had reddened with anger he was so very handsome.
Rogan and I made our way down the stairs into the main hour. We both thought we should say hello to this family before leaving. We turned to the right and entered a large living room area. There were several large couches and chairs all made of black leather complete with one of the largest TVs I'd ever seen on the far wall. The Luna, Corgan, and Roe were all sitting together watching a movie. I was guessing a Disney movie. The Luna seeing us first turned and said hello then Roe jumped off the couch and ran over to me pulling me by the hand to where she had a few dolls she wanted to introduce me to. “Oh, Roe these are beautiful.” The one doll had light blonde hair and blue eyes, “This one almost looks like you!” I smiled at her. “But I don’t think she has red in her hair.” She said sadly and thinking hard then smiled brightly as she had an idea. “I know maybe I can use a marker. Mommy can I use a marker on my doll’s hair.” I could see the Luna was uneasy about how to answer
