Chapter 1 - Anniversary Surprise

Katelina’s POV

“Oh yes, yes Kalen! F*ck me right there! More! More!” 

The smell of sweat and s*x combined wafted to my nose and I frowned. Moans. The sound of skin slapping against skin and Kalen’s lustful groans. I stood frozen in my spot just outside my husband’s room as I watch him f*ck my sister from the back, as he pulls her hair. She arched her back in a way that I thought it would snap.

Three days before our 3rd year anniversary. I got this stupid idea to surprise Kalen, the Alpha of Shadow Moon Pack, and also my husband of almost three years. 

I had gotten off work early. Being a Luna kept me constantly tied to the office for pack dealings and whatnot. I had taken off more workload from his Alpha duties since he couldn’t, and I decided to surprise him with a new sweater I bought for him as a gift and two tickets to that show he told me he’d always wanted to see.

It has been a week since I last saw him because of how busy I was with work, that is why I was so eager for this surprise.

But I never thought coming over to his house at this time of night would give me the greatest shock of my life.

“Oh my goddess, Kalen, that was amazing.” My sister, Coleen, sighed dreamily as she wrapped her arms around Kalen, smiling. He looked down at her with loving eyes, ultimately causing a searing pain to shoot from my chest.

“The best f*ck I ever had.” He said, and I felt a pang in my heart.

He used to look at me the same way, hold me the same way, and f*ck me like there is no tomorrow before he says…

“You’re the love of my life.” 

“You’re the love of my life.” The same words echoed through the room and I staggered back. 

For some reason I can’t look away. It’s as if my body is forcing me to stay and watch even though all I want is to get the h*ck out of the house and run. Run so far away and never look back.

But I can’t pull my gaze from Coleen, batting her oversized eyelash extensions at him with a seductive smile.

“Am I? What about my sister?” She asked with a pout.

Kalen chuckled, then pulled out and slammed back into her, causing her to moan out.

“What? That fat pig? Don’t make me laugh.” He said.

“I only kept her around to honor my father’s wish to marry her when she turned 18. Now that almost 3 years are up, I will banish her and make you, my love, the new luna of Shadow Moon Pack.” he said, and instantly my blood boiled.

“I love you, Kalen.”

“I love you more, Coleen. So so much.” he replied and they crashed lips, while I stood there in pure disbelief.

While it is true that the former Alpha died with the request for his son to marry me when I turn 18, I always thought it was real. That HIS love, was real. It felt that way for the past three years. We were just like a normal couple and that is why I was ready to give everything I had into this relationship, and to this pack as his luna. I did everything to help this pack and grew it into what it has become. It is because of me that this pack has become one of the most powerful packs ever known, and this…

I am shaking, and if looks could kill, they would both drop dead in that bed with the anger rising within my chest.

Fat pig? I have been called many things, but fat is definitely not one of them. I am not obese, nor do I neglect my body. I may be a bit on the bigger side, but I am in shape and just thick in all the right places. Colleen has always been thin, having done multiple surgeries for an a*s and b**bs that are too big for her body. He needs to get his eyes checked.

Coleen snorted out a laugh then forced to whimper out when Kalen yanked her up. She straddled him, wrapped her arms around his neck and looked up before our eyes met.

A look of surprise crossed her eyes but only for a split second before an evil grin crept up to her face. I stood a little bit disoriented. This is the little sister I have taken care of and protected growing up?

Instead of stopping what she’s doing, she began to roll her hips and ride his cock while moaning out loud,  making sure to keep eye contact with me as she did. Both moaned so damn loud you’d think there are hyenas being butchered inside this house.

It doesn’t take long for them both to finish and Coleen grabbed Kalen’s head, and kissed him deeply before my eyes. 

My heart felt like it was being ripped apart as I watched  with tears streaming down my eyes, but Kalissa, my wolf, would not stand by.

‘Let’s go. He doesn’t deserve us.’ Kalissa said in a fierce command as she took over my body. I felt her turn our body in the opposite direction and ran. We shifted into our wolf form and took off. She didn’t stop even as more tears began to blur our vision because I wouldn't stop crying. I went along with the ride and succumbed into darkness. I could still hear their disgusting moans and sounds of sweaty s*x before I blacked out.

The next morning, I woke up in bed with a pounding headache. I tried to move when I felt a hand rest on my thigh. 

My eyes snapped up and I found myself eye to eye with none other than my own husband. 

Kalen.

“Hey, it’s okay. I’m right here.” He whispered lovingly, causing goosebumps to rise across my body.

I looked up at his forest green eyes I used to admire. His eyes that were once filled with love and adoration for me were nothing but lies. 

His blonde hair was messy and disheveled as if he spent the entire night running his hand through it. A look of worry stained his face, but I knew that could be easily wiped before long.

It surprises me that I have never realized how good of an actor he was. And maybe that’s exactly why. He’s too good of an actor.

A bitter smile curved on my lips when I heard a low growl sound from off to the side. I tilted my head and saw my sister, Colleen, standing in a slutty little black  dress that barely covered anything other than her nipples and cameltoe with a constipated smile on her face. She is faking it. Both of them are still faking it and have the gal to look me in the eye.

“What happened? Elijah found your wolf passed out outside the border. Are you going to explain?” Elijah is our beta. Well, soon to be not mine.

I looked away from him, unable to stare at his face even a second longer.

“Katelina.” 

I still don’t reply, just keep my head turned away.

“Katelina, if there’s a problem you can tell me. I’m your husband.” Kalen said and I try so hard not to vomit at his face.

A scoff sounded off to the side, and that is the moment I looked up to meet my sister’s glowering eyes.

“Don’t you know simple manners, sis? Speak when you are spoken to. He is your Alpha!” she screams and I glared at her.

“And I am his Luna. You have no place here.” I growled menacingly for the first time, at the sister I once loved.

She gasped and placed a hand on her heart as if I wounded her.

Kalen’s eyes grew dark and he stood up while glaring at me. Now that’s more like it.

“Katelina, Colleen is your sister! How can you talk to her like that?” he defended while my sister began to sob. Kalen looked over at her and it was so obvious he wanted to pick her up then and there, so I might as well just end their pathetic act for them.

“Apologize.” he said, firmly, glaring daggers at me.

“No.” I said, with my chin lifted up as I looked him in the eye in pure defiance.

“Let’s get a divorce.”

It is as if time stopped, and he looked at me in surprise, then anger.

“What did you say?” he growled, darkly.

I looked down, painting a bitter smile on my face before raising my eyes..

“I want a divorce.”
