"I wanted to call my people for a gathering, one they have been anticipating, and I wanted to get your concent before hand." The Alpha commented.

I looked up at him, our bodies separated not just by the barrier but also by the three steps I had taken back a few seconds ago.

A frown settled on my face.

"Why would you need my consent to gather your own people?" I asked, looking up at his cloudy eyes.

"The topic of conversation involves you." He replied.

I chose silence for a few seconds, not knowing what to make of it.

"What exactly is the subject?" I finally asked.

The Alpha slowly leaned his shoulder against the door frame.

"You have been here for four weeks now. The people are anxious to know if you would join our pack as a Luna, a willing Luna." He replied.

I didn't like what he was saying.

It was hard an hour ago that I told him I would like to leave the pack. Even though he asked me to reconsider, he wasn't giving me much time now, is he?
