Chapter 22

“Romano…”Shelly whispered.

Romano had his head bowed when he heard Shelly calling her but he dared not raise his head as he was afraid she would complain about him and he may lose his job. He had been working in the hotel as a part-time waiter during the evening as he wanted to gain some experience as he was studying Hospitality and Management and was in his last semester. The experiences he would gain in the hotel would be an added merit to his resume but because of his carelessness, he was now in deep trouble.

“Yes madam …” He said nervously.

“Now tell me how do I punish you for what you have done?” Shelly asked sternly.

“I am sorry madam, I didn’t do it intentionally. Please don’t complain about it to the manager or I might be in trouble. I can do anything for you.” Romano added pleadingly as this was the best option he could find to keep himself out of trouble.
