ALPHA JACKSON
“I hope we have seen the last of these damn rogues. Still nothing on their leader?” We were in my office, still bloodied from the fight with the rogues. The attacks started when I started asking questions about the land near my pack.
It was undeveloped and was used for many things. Pack youth when they wanted to rebel, they went there to party. But recently, about a month ago, murders started occurring in that region, it was close to my pack and the Silver Sands pack led by alpha Nathan.
But he didn’t care about the deaths, though some of the people who died there were from his pack. I wanted to do something about it and asked the council to give it me. I was willing to buy it and make it a part of my territory.
Suddenly, all the alphas wanted it. of course, I couldn’t allow that. Why would I allow another alpha to buy land that close to my territory? It was not good, they saw it as an opportunity to spy on my pack, look for weaknesses and attack when it was convenient to them.
Since then, my pack had been attacked four times by rogues. They were coordinated and fought like they were trained. We captured a few but they were not talking. The bastards would rather die than talk.
“No alpha, even the one we caught hasn’t said a word. They are not breaking, I don’t know what that so called leader of theirs promised them or how he is controlling then but he has their loyalty. This is deep alpha.”
I felt the same way, there was no way rogues could behave that way. Someone was behind them, and they feared that person. I tried to think of the most feared alphas around. I was one of them and the other two were alphas Lucien and alpha Morphius.
None of them said anything about the land though, they didn’t show interest in it at all, and it was understandable since their territories were so far away and there was no reason for them to buy that land.
“We have to find out what it is going on here, Tylor. It’s only a matter of time before they find a weakness in our defences and get into the pack. We can’t let that happen.” I had gathered that whomever it was behind the attacks.
Wanted to test our defences, look for weaknesses and then attack on the larger scale. What I had noticed from the previous attacks was their numbers, they increased with each attack even though we killed most of them each time they attacked.
Which told me they were many of them, an army ready to cause chaos and I couldn’t allow that. whoever was doing that was going to regret it the moment I find them. “Alpha, we are needed downstairs, the warriors found something.”
Without question, I stood and hurried out of my office with Tylor tailing behind. I hoped they found something useful, something we could use to figure out who the hell was behind those stinking rogues.
When we got downstairs, two of my warriors were standing there. One of them was carrying a bundle of clothes. I raised an eyebrow. “Alpha, we found it while searching for more rogues. It was close to our border that we think one of them left it.”
He kept saying it and I kept looking trying to figure out what the “It” was. “Out with it already, I don’t have all day!” I was getting tired of them beating around the bush. The one carrying the bundle opened it, revealing a beautiful chubby baby.
She looked about a month old. “What is this, who does it belong to?” A baby, I tried to recall but no one in my pack had been reported to be pregnant, I knew for a fact we had no pregnant she-wolves in the pack so, where did that thing come from.
“Oh, my! Whose baby is that, oh, she looks so cute, so beautiful. Oh, those chubby cheeks, I can just bite them.” She cooed, my mother. Taking the baby from the warrior and started walking away. She was frustrating.
“Ma! Where are you going with that thing, we don’t know where it belongs, and it might be a trap.” She turned and glared at me. “What kind of threat could an innocent baby like this be?” she asked glaring at me hard.
“Stop being incompetent Jackson and find out who has been holding you by the balls these past months and leave an innocent baby alone.” My mother was going to be the death of us all. “At least check if it has something on it to tell us about it, anything.” She placed the baby on the dining table.
My beta and I went to check. The baby had nothing besides the clothes on her back, the baby blanket and a note. “Her name is Victoria. Please, take good care of her.” that was all.
But there was something strange about the note though, the paper it was written on was old, the kind of paper that was used in the eighteen hundreds. No one had that sort of paper anymore and, ink was used to write the note.
Not an ink from a pen but the actual ink that was used in that time as well. I started getting weary of that baby. “Mom, you say an innocent baby can’t be a threat, correct?” she even dared to say someone was pulling me by my balls. Mothers!
“I stand by what I said, you can see the note, her mother probably can’t take care of her and left her here and I am keeping her. I finally get to have the daughter I always wanted.” I looked at her in disbelief.
Didn’t she see the note and the ink? Also, her appearing out of nowhere was suspicious. “Mom please, you can’t keep that baby, we don’t know where it came from. Look at the note, its suspicious as well. Nothing good will come of us keeping her.”
I tried to reason with her but who was I kidding. When my mother’s mind was made up there was no changing it. “I am keeping her.” she turned to leave. “Mom, be reasonable!”
I called after her. “Fuck off Jackson, this is not one of your rogues but an innocent baby. Find out whomever dared to attack this pack and if you can’t, tell me. I will find him myself!”
JACKSONI looked at the alpha king next to me and his face told me that was his son we just saw. I didn’t waste time running after him. if I had to gain leverage over him, then I needed to get his son. I also prayed to the Goddess that Tylor managed to get my son out of his pack. Then taking the title of the alpha king would be easy.I would be able to bring Victoria back home and we would be a family again. All that had happened would be in the past. It would be something we told our children and grandchildren about. the alpha king was right behind me.“Alpha Jackson, don’t forget out deal.” He warned, I could hear the fear in his voice, good. I was going to use that to my advantage. “Why do you think I am running fast like this, my king? It is to get to your son before one of them get to him.” he didn’t trust me; the look he gave me told me as much.He was right not. “Aaaah!” piercing screams made us stop in our tracks and looked back. Many of the warriors were caught in net, not ju
The Beast AlphaI was so angry with myself. I had the perfect opportunity to get rid of that child and I blew it. fuck! “Alpha, you need to calm down. You have been grumpy for days and won’t say what is bothering you. is it those women? We can get them out of the pack, just say the word and they are gone.” Shadow tried to console me.He had no idea why I was that angry, he never wanted that child to be killed. He would be angry if I told him what I attempted to do and failed. “It’s not the women; it’s just something I wanted to do didn’t go as well as I had hoped.” He tilted his head to the side looking at me.I was still worried about what to say next because I knew he wasn’t going to let it go. Ghost saved me by bursting into my chamber looking like a ghost himself. “Alpha, we are under attack, the old man is back here with his men. We are outnumbered.”I stood, anger coursing through every fibre of my being. The audacity of the man, how could he! As If replacing me was not enough,
JACKSONHe dared to threaten me, using my son! How dare he? He just made me speed up my plan to get him out of the way and take his place. Getting back to the pack, I found Tylor with the warriors. All ready to leave. He wasn’t happy with me, but he was still the best beta an alpha can ask for. “Warriors, I know the situation is not ideal, but we must do this, for the sake of our kind. We can’t let the beast alpha have his way. we have let him live in peace in the mountain but taking Victoria is not something we can let go.”I scanned their faces, avoiding looking at Tylor. “I know some of you don’t like Victoria, but she is the reason we have a future now. The beast alpha tried to kill my pup last night. He failed, of course. But he may try again if we don’t do something about him.”Tylor looked horrified. “He did what? is Knight alright?” I nodded. “Yes, the arrow hit the alpha king and that is why I have a different mission for you. I will lead the warriors and go meet with the oth
ALPHA KING“Alphas, I did not call you here to play games. Our breeder is gone but I know where she is.” Mumbles and whispers followed my words. I knew my son was the one who shot that damned arrow. I didn’t know if he was aiming for me or the baby. But I could no longer sit back and watch anymore. He needed to be taught a lesson. I tried seeing him again, but his warriors wouldn’t let me. I knew he had the woman, but I let him be because I thought he wanted to have his own pup just didn’t want to tell me.But after what he did, he almost killed an innocent child. That woman’s child. If I hadn’t moved an arrow would have hit him instead of my arm. He was proving everyone right by acting like an animal. “My king, if you know where she is then why haven’t you gone and brought her back?”“That is why I called you all here, the beast alpha has her.” shock covered their faces. “Wasn’t she supposed to go to him in the first place?” asked Vincenzo, yes, she was but I had not spoken to him ab
The Beast AlphaFucking bastard replaced me. I stood feeling my anger rising from the pit of my stomach, threatening to spill over and destroy everything in it’s path. “Fine, he replaced me.” I nodded pacing the room, it was clear I wasn’t good enough. Even when he knew where to find me, the bastard still kept his distance then he had the audacity to replace me.Fine! “I want you to go back there and kill the little bastard.” Shadow stood looking horrified. “We don’t kill kids alpha, not when things are this way. Our kind still can’t produce children.” I laughed, it was clear the bastard was the first to sleep with that breeder and produced that child. He was never going to live, not when I am alive and well. If my father didn’t want to acknowledge me as his son and bring me home. Then he was not going to have a son at all. I might hate him and don’t want to go home. He doesn’t know that and didn’t even try to get me home.“They have a breeder now, don’t they?” he just looked at me. “
The Beast AlphaI went back to where I left the women. I stood at the distance watching them to talk to ghost. The one who had been keeping an eye on them. I kept looking between them wondering who the breeder was. It couldn’t be the omega. She looked so naïve and the way she kept letting the other one do as she please with her was obvious she wouldn’t kill anyone. However, the other one looked alert and if she was capable of anything. Her eyes looked as if they had seen many horrible things. I didn’t know what she was and that concerned me a little. She wasn’t a werewolf as she didn’t have one.She was also not a human, or a witch, I knew what those smelled like as we had many of them in the pack back when I was home. What was she? I got closer. “I only asked you to keep an eye on them Ghost, not to make friends.” they tensed.“Am sorry, alpha.” He stepped back. “Bring them
