I jumped over Elisa and rushed into the room. I wanted to catch her before she fell, but I was so shocked by what happened that I took time to react. The seer and witch were right behind me. I had gone to get them so the witch could protect Victoria. If she were pregnant then I didn’t want anything to go wrong.

By the time I got to her, she had already fallen, and my heart was beating out of my chest with worry. I quickly picked her up and placed her on the bed. “Let me check on her.” the witch said pushing my aside. I stood there worried sick that something bad might happen.

“She will be fine, she just fainted from exhaustion. The moment she said that I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding. I then turned to Megan who was in the room with her eyes wide in shocked. I went and clicked my fingers in front of her bringing her back to reality.

“What the hell are you doing here?” I was now fuming with anger. They dare put Victoria’s life in danger when she could be pregnant
