Father and Mother told me this story a long time ago.

About a wolf coming to save our kind from the most ruthless creatures to walk the earth.

What I didn’t expect was for that wolf to be my wife. My wife that came here was broken, lost, and confused.

But also wholesome, loving, and the kindest soul anyone can lay eyes on.

Annabella, I sit on the chair beside her bed and take her tiny hand in mine. She looks so lifeless laying on that bed. The only thing giving any sign of life is the beeping on the monitor across the room.

I woke up a couple of days ago, Annabella however did not. Father says it’s not her time yet, just be patient. When the time is right she’ll wake up.

A knock on the door draws my attention from her perfect face. Aaron informs me that my father would like to see me in his office.

Looking back at Annabella I sigh… stand to my feet and place a kiss on her forehead. Hendrix returns to the bedroom and sits in the same seat I sat on.

After I woke up and fou
