"What the hell are you doing, Ash?!"

Aslan hated this. Every time Allen took care of his problems, the man would scold him, too. Aslan had not asked for help. The incident with Skylar was no big deal, and Aslan was sure he could handle it himself.  But suddenly, without any confirmation, Allen sent his men to the police station to clear things up. Why would Allen take care of things if he was going to end up scolding Aslan?

"Look, I didn't ask you for a favor, Allen. You told your own men to take care of my problem. I can take care of it myself."

"How? How are you going to take care of it, huh?"

"I didn't kill anyone, Allen! I just have to pay for the damage to the car."

Allen sighed heavily. "But you were taken to the police station, right? What do you think Dad would do to you if he found out?"

Aslan clenched his hands. "Why do you have to involve Dad? Are you going to report me to him? Haha... yeah, right. You're our father's favorite."

"Ash!"

"What?! Am I wrong? He only thinks of you as his son. I'm nothing, I just happened to be born as his son."

Allen tried to control his anger. He approached Aslan and was about to touch his brother's shoulder, but Aslan had already pushed him away.

"Ash, I didn't mean to scold you. I was just worried about you."

Aslan chuckled. "About what? You should be happy if I died in an accident."

"Ash, come on... Do you want me to make an appointment for you to see a therapist?"

Aslan snorted in annoyance. "You think I'm crazy?"

"No, I don't. You're just out of control. This month alone, you've had five incidents with the cops, Ash. Can't you be a good boy and let your brother do his job? Look, I don't mind you wasting a lot of money. You can buy a lot of expensive sports cars, take your parasite friends to elite nightclubs or whatever, but please don't get into trouble that puts the Kennedy name in jeopardy. You can live easy, I'll make the money, but please be a good boy, please..."

"I'm not a kid, Allen. You don't have to feel responsible for my situation all the time."

"I can't!" Allen leaned closer and cupped Aslan's face. Seeing his brother's face so close, Aslan immediately lowered his gaze.

Allen loved his brother dearly. What had happened to their family made Allen feel responsible for Aslan. He could not leave Aslan alone. He always wanted to know everything Aslan was doing so that if his brother was in danger, Allen could help. Allen let Aslan do whatever he wanted, he would not protest. He just hoped that Aslan would not do anything that would put him in danger.

Allen hugged his brother tightly, while Aslan remained silent. "Ash, I will not condemn anything you do. I've told you many times, you're free to do whatever you want, I'll take care of it if there's a problem. But all I ask is that you don't do anything to endanger yourself."

Aslan went to a nightclub after arguing with his brother. He was in a bad mood and needed a distraction. His friends were always ready when Aslan called, because that meant Aslan was treating them.

Aslan thought going to a nightclub would cheer him up a bit. But he was wrong. From the moment he arrived at the nightclub, he just sat and sipped the drinks the waiter poured for him. Sometimes Aslan smoked a cigarette. He just let his friends have their fun with the omega whores there.

"Aslan, won't you try it? She's the most beautiful omega here. She can certainly satisfy you."

Aslan looked at one of his half-drunk friends. "Do it yourself if you like. I'm not an animal like you, easily aroused by pheromone perfume."

Aslan's words were sharp, but not once did his friends take offense. They simply responded to Aslan's words with laughter.

Aslan was not unwilling to do what his friends were doing. The omega bitches gathered around and tried to get close to Aslan, but he could not. Frankly, it frustrated him. Obviously, his decision to entertain himself in this nightclub was wrong.

"I'll be out in a minute." Aslan stood up. His friends were confused.

"Just keep doing what you're doing." Aslan winced in disgust as his friends began doing naughty things to the omega whores.

"Animals," Aslan muttered to himself.

That Aslan was often with his friends did not mean that he always enjoyed being with them. He just hated being alone, although their presence did not help.

Aslan leaned against a pole in the courtyard of the nightclub. He lit a cigarette and took a quiet drag. A puff of smoke wafted through the air and Aslan sighed heavily. He kept thinking about Allen's words. It was something that made him uncomfortable. Of course, he accepted Allen's concern. After all, he was his brother. But in a way, Aslan felt that Allen was interfering too much in his life.

"Damn, I'm tired of living like this."

"Upset, huh?"

Aslan jumped in surprise. He turned to find Skylar standing nearby. The man grinned slightly.

"W-What are you doing here? Are you following me or..."

"Woah... Woah... take it easy, man. I just happened to be in the club tonight, too, and I saw a very familiar face smoking alone outside the club. That's why I approached you."

Aslan gave Skylar a bombastic side-eye. "What do you want?"

"Why do you seem suspicious of me? I mean, after the incident that happened, shouldn't I be wary of you?"

Aslan rolled his eyes. "I asked you, what do you want?"

Skylar shrugged, then smiled broadly. "Nothing. I just wanted to say hello, Aslan."

"Bullshit. You want money or something? You didn't get compensated for the damage to your car?"

"No, no. Your men took care of it. So, you're a rich kid, huh?"

"Okay, then. Excuse me."

"Hey, wait!" Skylar suddenly grabbed Aslan's arm.

Aslan, unprepared for the pull, was thrown off balance. His body was pulled backward and his shoulder slammed into Skylar's chest. Their positions were now completely fixed.

"Ouch, sorry. I didn't mean..." Skylar's words stopped as his nose smelled a very fragrant scent coming from Aslan's body. Skylar unconsciously lowered his head and sniffed closer to Aslan's neck.

"What are you doing, damn it?"

Aslan quickly pushed Skylar away. He shivered as he felt Skylar's breath on his neck.

"Ah, sorry. I just-wait, are you wearing perfume?" Skylar asked.

Aslan frowned. "Perfume, huh? I'm not wearing perfume."

"Huh? Are you sure you're not wearing perfume?"

Skylar approached Aslan again and sniffed at Aslan's body scent. It was a really strong smell. It was a soothing scent. Skylar liked the scent.

"You smell good. It smells good."

Aslan got chills. "Are you a dog? How could you sniff someone else so carelessly?"

"But are you really not wearing perfume?"

Aslan exhaled heavily. He sniffed himself and did not smell any perfume.

"There's something wrong with your nose. I'm leaving."

Skylar was startled. "Ash, wait! Hey, I'm not done yet—haaa…”

Skylar rubbed his face. That smell... Why did Skylar smell something so good on Aslan's body?

"Is he really a Beta?" Skylar muttered.

The first night Aslan was locked up in the basement of Rosat’s headquarters, he couldn’t sleep at all. His body kept him awake because he felt unsafe. Furthermore, that room was a source of Aslan’s trauma. All night, he just curled up in a corner with tears streaming down his face. No one came to him after his father left. The door was locked from the outside, and Aslan knew security outside his room was tight. After years of finally living freely, being back in the same room left Aslan feeling utterly stressed. He clearly remembered how he had howled and cried hysterically when he was first forced into the room for the treatment his father had devised years ago. Aslan pounded on the steel door, screaming and begging to be let out. However, not a single person paid him any attention. He might not have been roaring or screaming hysterically like he used to, but he was feeling exactly the same way as he had back then. After spending the entire night on high alert, two male doctors whom

Allen's breathing was ragged. His anger was boiling over. He had always had excellent control over his pheromones, but suddenly, he was unable to control them. A surge of pheromones poured out of his body. The effect of his anger was insane. Two of his father’s men who had been restraining him immediately doubled over, their chests tightening. Their grip on Allen loosened, and they fell to their knees, clutching their aching chests. They felt as though they couldn’t breathe. Now unrestrained, Allen approached his father immediately. He grabbed his father’s collar with both hands, his eyes flashing with fury.“What are you doing, Father?!”Aaron didn’t react, his gaze remained flat. "Is this how you behave toward your father, Allen?"Allen clenched his teeth. It was always taught that children had to respect their parents, yet his father never once set a similar example. Allen had never rebelled against his father his whole life. He had always submitted to and obeyed his father's every

"What do you mean, boss? Why did you suddenly jump to the conclusion that I’m in love with him? That doesn't make any sense."The boss laughed sarcastically. "Doesn't make sense, huh? Right, it’s completely nonsensical—just like your behavior lately. Admit it, Skylar. Are you in love with the Kennedys’ second son?”Skylar let out a long sigh. "I'm curious where you got such an absurd conclusion from, boss."“And you’re not denying it,” the boss replied. “So, it’s true, then?”For some reason, Skylar felt a bit panicked. He was here to face the boss’s wrath because he had been messing up the mission for the past few weeks. But who would have thought the boss would bring up Aslan Kennedy as well? Everyone on his team, including the boss, knew about Aslan’s existence. Up until now, even though their missions had always involved the Kennedys and several other crime bosses, Aslan’s name had never been mentioned. No one had ever considered Aslan a threat, even though he was Kennedy’s own fl

That evening, Mina brought food to Aslan’s room again. This time, she didn’t bring a variety of foods like before because Aslan had requested a specific dish.“Are you sure this dish will be enough, Mr. Aslan?” she asked.Aslan nodded. He wasn’t the type to have a big appetite anyway. He only needed to eat just enough. Especially now that his health was weakening, his appetite had dwindled as well.Just like before, Mina would wait for Aslan until he finished eating before she left his room. The problem was, Aslan felt uncomfortable with her presence, especially after…“By the way, Mr. Aslan, has the culprit been found yet?” she asked suddenly.Aslan, who was focused on chewing his food, frowned. “Huh?”“What culprit?”“The person who kidnapped you. Has he been found? What was that person’s actual motive for kidnapping you? Could there be a specific motive? For example, a grudge against the Kennedy family?”Aslan shrugged. “I don’t know.”“Did Mr. Allen not tell you anything at all, M

"I have to see that doctor," Allen said suddenly.Mike, who had overheard him, immediately stopped him. "You can't do that, Mr. Allen. If your father finds out, things will get messy. Besides, Dr. Brandon Kim is still under surveillance by the Kennedys' men. It’s not as strict as it used to be, but it’s still not saved.”"Of course, I'll meet him in secret so my father doesn't find out. That doctor seems to know a lot about the Kennedys. I want to speak to him directly about Aslan’s current condition. I’m sure he must know about the black mark that appeared on Aslan’s body. I also have a few other questions for him.”“But Mr. Allen...”“Don’t worry. Just find the right time for me to meet with him. If my father finds out later, I’ll handle it myself.”The next day, Allen visited Aslan with a middle-aged woman. Her name was Mina, a maid who worked at the Kennedy family’s home. Of all the maids working at the Kennedy family’s home, Mina had been there the longest. She had been there sin

"Why?"Aslan blinked. “What do you mean, ‘why’?”“I mean, why are you so sure that Skylar Reynolds has nothing to do with the Phantom?”"Well, because...uh..." For some reason, Aslan suddenly felt nervous. His eyes darted around restlessly. Allen noticed every detail of his little brother’s changing expression and clearly felt that something was off."Haha, maybe you're so frustrated because you still don't know who the Phantom members are that you're accusing Skylar out of the blue. Is father pressuring you too much to find the Phantom members?”Allen shook his head. “It’s not like that, Aslan.“Then why? You’re acting so strangely, Allen. Skylar is just an ordinary civilian. His behaviour is weird too. There’s no way he’s a Phantom member. Didn't you and Father say that the Phantoms are an incredible organization? They’re so formidable that not even the national police or official detectives can beat them. If someone like him were part of Phantom, the organization would probably be
