LOGINThird person's pov The news of the fashion tycoon stepping down was apparently everywhere. Ayla had wanted the attention shifted from her but that was not happening anytime soon. Meanwhile Clara had gone off to her private house. Though it didn't take long before Ivy came knocking at her front door. She had one mission when she came here and that was to bring her back home. Ivy could stand for Ayla to have an emotional string to someone pull her back. Choosing one life over another was going to happen anyways. It was just happening now. Happening now for the best. Clara let her into her house and Ivy settled down on the high stool beside the counter as she watched Clara in her kitchen acting busy. “Do you need some herbal tea or something?” Clara asked while rummaging the cupboard above her for the fifth time. “I need you to come home with me,” she replied. Clara sighed heavily. “Well” she set down the cup she brought out from the cupboard in defeat "that's not going to hap

He called out. " Ayla, I said wait.” His voice was stern but I didn't owe him an explanation. Hastening my step, I was about to corner to the next turn where they might have ushered Killian and Ivy to sit when he grabbed me by my arm and spun me to face him. “Let me go" I growled at him. “No." He snapped at me. “What was what you said in there.." I pulled my hand away from his grip. “I don't owe you any explanation" “If it's about my mother and what happened then I guess you do" “Well be happy to know that it's not" I turned away but he grabbed me again. “Then w
Ayla's povI turned on the news to watch it but turned it off after a few seconds. They did talk about her stuff but it was directed back to me, I was still the one they were looking for. After talking to Aiden that morning, I returned back to the room and Killian was already awake but still processing and making a crucial decision if he gets up from the bed or not. Meanwhile I entered the shower immediately since I barely had the strength to take a shower last night. After approximately four hours all together. I was done, Killian was done and both Ivy and Clara were waiting for us downstairs, including Aiden. The drive back to the police station was rough. I called Tessa and had her arrange a broadcasting meeting right there in the police station and soon everybody was talking about it again. It was funny how the masses believed I could kill Aiden but then again I blamed the hierarchy. It was always as if after fame, everybody just expects you to do the impossible. To do somethi
Ayla's pov Sadly for me, I didn't sleep a wink, I bought the idea of staying awake rather than going to sleep only to face nightmares that I didn't understand. I could go interrupt Ivy and Clara's peaceful sleep but I figured there was only much more than we could handle. When the alarm hit seven, I was already wide awake, considering that I was never asleep to begin with. I watched the ceiling before I peeled myself off from Killian's grip and climbed down the bed. He always looked peaceful in his sleep, like he had nothing to worry about. Absolutely nothing.I went straight to the kitchen to get a glass of water and that was when I heard the quiet hum of electricity in the walls, the distant sound of a kettle. The kitchen lights were already on and when I fully approached the kitchen I caught Aiden standing by the counter, sleeves rolled up and hair slightly disheveled, staring far too intently at the brewing coffee like they both were mind linking. But despite the focus, he
Ayla's povI stirred on the bed, I was strangely uncomfortable with my sleeping position. I turned right and left and then right till I rolled off the bed. I could have hit my head on the tile flooring but instead I woke up to everything on fire. The pack house, the trees, women, children and men. Shifted wolves burned in their wolf form and by her right lay Killian. “Killian!” I held my gown, the same gown I had worn on my eighteenth birthday and rushed towards him but he was bleeding and his body had gone cold “Killian?" I shook him “Killian wake up!" ‘Everything is going to rumble because of you’ a husky voice in my head. I looked around and how the fire had killed so many people. I turned to my left and there was Clara, laying lifeless beside Ivy. “Noo" I cried out, I looked down at my hands and they were bloody, Killain's blood. Then all of a sudden neck from within. ‘you are an abomination, you don't belong anywhere. You are the reason why innocent lives have to end an
Third person's pov The drive lasted for five more hours, Clara and Ivy took turns driving, till they arrived there around ten in the night. “This place is warded," Ivy finally said as the car slowed down into the drive wayAiden stared out the window, jaw tight. " So we're hiding.” "We're surviving,” Clara corrected softly, already tired of the bantering. " And you should get the rest you need because first thing tomorrow, we are going to the station” Clara parked the car inside the garage and everyone got out. The house wasn't in an estate, in fact it was the only house standing in the midst of so many acres of land. It wasn't large but it was solid. With stone walls and low windows. As Killian made his way to the front door, he scanned the perimeter searching for anything close to suspicious and when he didn't find any. He walked behind the last person and locked the door as they all got inside. Ayla took off her hoodie and mask when she got to their room she kicked her boo
