LOGINAyla's pov
After the party, my father wasted no time to send me off with Killian but I didn't bother to protest since with Killian, I felt at ease and safe. I loved him already. Thankfully Blood moon pack house was nothing like Silver fang. Where Silver fang was cold stoned and extreme hierarchy, Blood moon was basking with warmth, radiated soft lights and filled calm air. Wolves bustled around as if the whole pack was dipped in sunlight. In here it was hard to tell who belonged and who didn't. And they welcome me, really welcomed me Killian also took pride with me around him, my arm hooked around his as we walked past his pack and towards the palace house. “Luna-to-be" someone whispered as I passed “She's so gorgeous" “Alpha Killian must be really blessed by the moon goddess" 'They love us.' My wolf whispered which made me smile even more. Women hugged me without hesitation, warriors bowed their heads respectfully, even the pups tugged at my dress, wanting to know if I could shift again so they could see my ‘sparkly wolf’ Sparkly. No one had ever described me with anything kind before. It was overwhelming. It was beautiful. For the first time in my life… I felt like I belonged somewhere. His mother, Luna Elora, cupped my cheeks gently and said, “Welcome home, sweetheart. It was about time my son brought in a mate and you, you are perfect” And I believed her. Killian showed me to everyone, and each time he glanced at me, it seemed as though he couldn't wait to get his hands on me. He settled me in his room, warm blankets, and soft rugs. A place meant for peace “Stay here, you can take a bath if you wish" he smirked at me. And I pouted. "I'll be back" He left and closed the door behind him. I looked around the room. The bed was softer than the one I slept on at Silver Fang, it was normal for the last daughter to get what was left of the good stuff but here. Soft lights, silk drapes, a fireplace at the far end and this sense of belonging. This was a fresh start and a gift from the moon goddess herself. I smiled as I glanced at the band around my wrist. Nothing could ruin this… A knock. Sharp. Hard. Urgent. I straightened. “Killian?” No answer. But the door burst open after I called his name. Killian stood there. Or so I thought. His gray eyes bore into mine but it wasn't soothing, there was absolutely nothing soothing about the way he was staring at me, instead it was colder. His posture rigid and his jaw sharp with displeasure. “Killian? Are you okay?" “Killian?" He scoffed at me. . Really looked at me. As if he despised what he saw. “What are you doing here?" He asked, his voice laced with venom. My heart stuttered “W..what do you mean? You brought me here" He scoffed, “Maybe I made a mistake." My world tilted again, this time, upside down. “Mistake?" I whispered, glancing at the woman beside him and then at him “Killian this isn't funny" His eyes darkened as he moved closer, towering over me with a glare that felt like he was clawing my insides. “You don't belong here," he said coldly and dismissively “you barely belong in your own pack. What made you think you deserve to step into mine" My breath caught. That… wasn't him. Not the man who danced with me, not the one who held me under the moon like I was irreplaceable. But Killian didn't blink, he didn't soften either I tried to reach for his arm but he glared at it and I retreated slowly. “Killian… What's going on? You said I belonged with you…” " That was before I realized what you really are..” My stomach dropped and my heart sank " what… I really am?" Now he leaned closer, voice lowering to a cruel whisper. “An orphaned nobody clinging to a mate bond because you have nothing else to live for. Did you even think that I wanted someone like you? You're lucky I even looked at you" His words hit harder than any slap, tears burned instantly as they sting my eyes but I refused to let them fall. “That's not fair" I said quietly, live cracking “you're not acting yourself, what changed Killian… did I do something..” " Nothing changed, I just opened my eyes” Then he smirked. The smirk he gave earlier was soft, warm and made me feel safe. This smirk felt like poison. But still. Still a tiny part of me had hoped that he was lying and all this was some kind of test or something had happened and he wasn't telling me. “Killian" I whispered again, reaching for him “please.. He slapped my hands away and the sound echoed. “Don't touch me" he hissed “I wish you'd never stepped foot in my pack house. Hell, I wished you'd disappear from this planet altogether" This time my breath stopped. Not because of his words but because of how easily he said them, with no hesitation, no remorse. Like he meant them. He stepped back, like an act of finality. “You and I? We will never be anything. Do yourself a favor. Leave” The man who danced with me under the moon would never say this. Maybe he had come to his senses, he had realized what everyone else saw in me. I was wrong, shifting wouldn't change anything because the man in front of me looked exactly like Killian and he sounded exactly like Killian. He was Killian. And he had just shattered something I didn't know could break any further. “Is that really what you want?" My voice trembled “Yes" he crossed his arm. Something inside me finally gave out. I stood, numb and empty, I stepped past him even though my legs felt like stone. “Fine," tears finally fell. “I'll go." His expression didn't change, he didn't stop me I stood, numb, stepping past him even though my legs felt like stone. “Fine,” I whispered, tears finally falling. “I’ll go.” His expression didn’t change. He didn’t stop me. He didn’t call out. He just… watched. And as I reached the doorway, my breath shaking, I glanced over my shoulder at him one last time. “You’ll never have to see me again.” And then… I walked away. Pretending all this was just a bad dream. I closed the door behind me leaving behind the only place that had ever felt like home.6 SIX YEARS LATERBLOOD MOON PACK Ayla's finial povSoft morning light slipped through the tall windows and stretched across the room and onto the bed we laid on.I stirred beneath it and for a moment, I didn't open my eyes, I simply breathed, letting the warmth settle against my skin, letting the stillness exist without interruption. I could never get tired of this. Of peace. Everytime it hit, it was still a strange thing, something I hadn't fully learned how to trust yet. But thoughts like this lasted only for a millisecond. Beside me, Killian shifted, a vivid proof that peace could last. He wasn't awake fully but just enough to feel me, I felt his arms tighten around my waist, pulling me closer as though even in sleep, he refused to let distance exist between us. I loved it. Smiling faintly, my eyes opened slowly and I turned slightly in his arms, studying his face and sharp lines that had softened by sleep. Or so I thought. His eyes blinked slowly, forming a small smile
Third person's pov SIX YEARS LATERSEATTLE. Seattle had gotten used to luxurious Lara having Clara as its owner, especially if it was now one of the biggest fashion industries in the whole of Asia and America. The scandal about Isabel had died down, everyone believed Aiden had travelled to move on, though his mother constantly protested, she died three years back from overdose. The world had believed, Elara Voss left everything behind to start a new life in a place away from the drama. And Clara?Blond hair tied up into a neat bun, her three piece suit clinging to her body, making her look more formal than ever. She adjusted to this, she became the leader of a global company, something she never knew she could do without Ayla. She leaned back slightly in her chair, gaze drifting towards the window by her side, the city stretched endlessly below and it was such a wonder how easily things could quickly die down, like it never existed. No one ever knew werewolves existed and onc
Third person's pov The sky had begun to darken, Killian was no match for the Darkforce who had sapped energy from Ayla. The Darkforce sent an unseen force again that sent him crashing against a fallen trunk and a sharp cry ripping from his throat. It hovered above him as he groaned in pain. Killian coughed, trying to push himself up with one elbow. “Such defiance, from something so fragile…” he moved and wrapped a hand around his neck, squeezing until he couldn't breath, until he was at the verge of passing out. “Vorath!!" The voice cut through the air and the Darkforce stilled. It slowly turned to Ivy who was standing at the edge of the clearing, with hair silver and eyes glowing white. Her body was marked with ancient glowing sigils and spells with her hands slightly held up.Magic curled around her fingers like it was a living thing, making her more ethereal to look at. "I've been waiting for you.” She said calmly. The Darkforce shifted with interest. "Finally a moon v
Third person's pov When he got close, she moved first. Nyx controlled her but this was Ayla and before Kallum could strike back she hit hard.As pressure built underneath her skin, she immediately slammed into him, Kallum's body jerked as the force hit drove him further into the ground. He gritted his teeth, hands digging into the earth as he pushed himself back. And though he could fight back, he refrained and merely watched as Ayla poured all her energy into knocking him out. Finally bored of watching her, he never rose up when he crashed to the ground and as she held him against one of the trees, something shifted and her breath hitched, her grip faltered slightly and for a second her strength wavered. A smile crepted up his lips. “You're running out," he rasped. Ayla's jaw tightened as she pressed him against the tree. " No.”But her body betrayed her, she indeed was running out, every strike and pull and every second she held him down, it took somehow from her in return.
Ayla's povThe corridor blurred past me as I raced from the dungeons and to the room Killian was kept in. A million thoughts filled my head and gruesome images of what Kallum could have done if he got there first I pushed the door immediately, not bothering to knock. “Ivy…”She stood there, at the center, with books scattered across the table and sigils half drawn in the air. I could tell her expression had been tight with concentration before I stormed in. "Did you find who you were looking for?” She asked, her brows slightly knitted together. I glanced at Killain's direction and a wave of relief washed through me. He was seated upright staring at me like I was a lunatic. "What happened?” I took in air and breathed it out. " He's gone.” Ivy's brow arched like she could already guess what I mean but didn't want to bring herself to believe it. "Who is gone?” She asked as silence followed. “Kallum," I said, “he escaped, one of the guards came to tell me" Ivy's hands droppe
Ayla's pov I traced her scent down another underground dungeon entirely different from the ones I and Aiden kept. Aiden. He died because of me, because he thought he owed it to me. My chest squeezed itself so hard that I found it difficult to breathe at all.All at same time, convincing myself that I needed to focus. The corridor smelled like iron and old magic and as I walked through and past both guards standing right outside the corridors, obviously under a spell. Flickering torches by the sides as I walked in deeper. At the end of the corridor was a cell and inside it was Lila. She wasn't standing nor pacing and trying to find the easiest way out or yelling at the guards on how they were making the gravest mistake by chaining her here. She was seated on the floor, wrists bound by silver restraints and something else I can recognize as Ivy's magic. She lifted her head the moment I stepped into view, a small smile, playing at the end of her lips like she had been waiting f
Ayla's povIn Ivy's lair. The attic in her warm cozy house. There were different types of spell books and artifacts. For an average human librarian it seemed normal to keep. But for a witch it was the right haven. So Ivy was indeed smart, hiding in the disguise of a normal lady who loved books

Ayla's pov I gulped lightly as she stood there staring at me. My brain scrambled through possible excuses I could tell Clara even though she wasn't gullible enough to believe half of it. “Elara what's going on and what witch?” Her voice is calm but serious. I started to get up to my feet,
