Chapter 134

Ebony POV

"I can't believe he would throw flour on you! I'm going to beat his ass. No! I'm going to have Derek beat his ass. You know he hates when Keith bullies you. " Kate said

"I know, but don't tell him. I don't want him getting in trouble. It wouldn't be good for the treaty either." I said, and she knew I was right. Our pack has been working with the Silvermoon Pack since I was born. I didn't want them to end their treaty because of me. Kate and I were in the bathroom. I had a spare pair of clothes because this was not the first time Keith had pulled a stunt like this.

"Well! We need to let my parents know so they can do something about this." She said as I walked out of the bathroom stall.

"I'm fine, I promise. Let's get to class."

We headed to our first class, which was math.

"Nice for the two of you to join us. Take your seat," Mrs. Grammer said. So we went to our table and sat next to our other best friend, Kayla.

"You okay?" Kayla whispered, and I nodded.

We listened to Mrs.Grammer. She told us to do pages 32 and 33 in our math books. After a few minutes, I felt something hit the back of my head. I turned around and saw Keith looking around like he had done nothing. I turned back around, and something hit my head again. I looked down and saw two balled-up pieces of paper. I turned and looked at him again, and he looked at me,

"What are you looking at, loser?" he asked. I turned back around and felt it again, and now I was pissed. "Stop throwing stuff at me," I said.

"Is something wrong, Ebony?" Mrs. Grammer asked, annoyed.

"No. Nothing is wrong. I am sorry," I replied. Mrs. Grammer was a member of the Silvermoon Pack. There was no way she would listen to anything I said.

"I have a problem. Ebony keeps staring at me and saying weird things to me. She is making me uncomfortable," Keith said.

"No, I'm not! He keeps throwing stuff at me. He did it three times."

"That's not true! Mrs. Grammer, you have known me my whole life. Ebony is trying to get me in trouble. The other day Ebony told me she was in love with me and wanted to be my girlfriend, and I turned her down. So she started to stalk me," Keith said.

"No, I didn't. You are lying. "I replied

"Enough, Ebony! You can't make up stories about someone because you are upset that they don't like you. I asked you if everything was okay, and you said yes. You need to apologize to the young Alpha this instant." She said

"But,"

"No buts, Ebony. You know what, leave." She said, and I picked up my bag to leave. Before I walked out of the room, Keith said, "I'm sorry, Ebony but a bastard child, with a hoe and an alcoholic mom, on welfare is not the girl for me." Fits of laughter were heard all through the class. I wanted to cry but held my tears. I would not cry in front of him.

"Are you okay?" I heard Kate ask before hugging me.

"I'm fine! I'm just tired of him bullying me." I said.

"I can't believe Mrs. Grammer acted like he didn't say anything to you. She should have kicked him out." Kayla said

"Yeah, but you know she is from his pack. She would never go against him for me. No one would; I am poor and a nobody. He is a soon-to-be Alpha of his pack."

"You aren't a nobody, and it's not right how he treats you and gets away with it. Don't sell yourself short," Kate said.

We walked to the cafeteria and went to the lunch line. After we got our food, we sat at our usual table. We were talking and laughing, and then I saw Sandy walking toward me, and she was staring straight at me.

"I heard you tried to get with my boyfriend." She said.

"No, I didn't," I replied

"You think I believe you. Keith told me, you bitch. He would never get with you. He told me you tried to suck his cock, and he denied you. You are so desperate it's sad." She said,

" That's not true. He is lying," I said

"Don't deny it; you know you threw yourself on me. You acted like a slut getting on your knees and begging to taste my cock." He said

"Shut up, Keith; she would never do that," Kate said

"Well, you truly don't know your friend. So I have no reason to lie."

" I didn't; I swear," I started, and then Dandy threw her water on me."

Everyone around me was laughing except for Kate and Kayla. Kayla looked at me in pity while Kate was cussing Keith out.

I couldn't take it anymore and ran out of the cafeteria. I was so tired of being treated like trash. I was thinking about switching schools at the end of the year, but then I began to think I should do it sooner.

"Ebony, wait" I looked up and saw Kayla running to catch up to me. "Don't let them get to you," She said.

"I can't do this anymore, Kayla. I am done with this school. I will see if Alpha Michael will let me transfer to the human schools," I said

" What about Kate and me? We will miss you." Kayla said.

"We will see each other. We are still part of the same pack. I'm not moving and will still visit you at the packhouse like always."

"If you want to transfer schools, I will support you." She said and hugged me.

I ended up leaving school and decided to go home soon after I talked to Kayla. When I walked through the door, and could hear moans and see Chad and my mom fucking. I roll my eyes and hurry to my room. I locked my door and lay down on my bed to nap. Today had already been a long, trying day, and it was only noon.

I am shocked when I wake up and look at my alarm clock. It is already 4 pm. I had to be at work at 4:30. I put on my uniform and went out the front door. I work at a Family Diner. Most of the teens hang out there at night. I only get paid a little hourly, but the tips can be good.

I decided to walk because it was about a thirty-minute walk and I had already missed the bus. So I walked fast to make it on time, thankfully I arrived on time. I clocked in and got my apron and tablet to take orders.

After work was finished, I walked outside to catch the bus home but was shocked when I saw Kate, Kayla, Derek, and Jace waiting for me.

"Come on, girl, you're coming to my house," Kate said.

"I should get home. I don't want to impose,"

"Don't be ridiculous; you are coming with us," Derek said. He has always been like a brother to me. So I hopped in, knowing they wouldn't have it any other way.

"Once we arrived at the packhouse, we went into the kitchen, where Kate and Derek's parents were. They are the Alpha and Luna of our pack Bloodmoon but our like second parents to me. "Happy Birthday!" They both said at the same time. Aunt Lisa was holding a cake in her hand, and there were gift bags on the table.

Everyone sang happy birthday, I blew out the candles, and Aunt Lisa decided to cut the cake.

"Uncle Michael, I was wondering if I would be okay to change schools and go to the human high school?" I asked; he looked at me worriedly

"Is there something going on at school?" He asked

"No, I just wanted to change. I thought it would be good to get some human interaction."I said

"If you want, that's fine with me," He said

"If she goes, I want to change schools too, Daddy!" Kate said.

"Me too!" Kayla said.

He looked at both of them and thought for a moment. He looked at his wife for a while. They were mind-linking each other.

"Okay! But you all have to make sure not to do anything the humans would find strange. They can never find out what about werewolves." He said

We all told him we understood. After we were done with the cake, I opened my presents, and we headed to Kate's room after saying goodnight to everyone. We watched movies and talked about changing schools. I told them they didn't have to change with me, but they said they wouldn't let me go alone. We went to bed soon after.
